What should I work on first to improve my long FGs efficiency ?

I know I have to work on vision because I'm just below the soft cap and this is not enough (44.16).

I've got 91.28 in kicking, 54.31 in strength, 49.75 in confidence, 8 in big boot, about 25 in speed / agility.

I would assume Big boot, everything else is good imo

I don't anyone really knows since there is no feedback on field goals and extra points.

I would say Confidence, DEFINITELY.

Probably STR as well.

I haven't really cracked the code yet.

Does jumping affect kickers?

Apparently, although only slightly.

I have more confidence then he does, and I suck at long FGs. Then again, he has more strength then I do, so who knows...

I totally agree, and I was asking only about your feelings and experiment.
Comparing builds and stats.

I've seen someone asking in the suggestion part to see the FGAs in the replays.
Or even if it's not possible to have more information when an attempt is missed (too short, sliced to the right, ...).
Did anybody follow this thread ? Is there an official reply to this demand ?

We just keep getting the same crap response "it's too easy to build a kicker as it is". Well, thank you captain obvious. It's KICKING. It should be the easiest one to figure out what you are doing wrong. You don't deal with snaps. You don't deal with handoffs. You don't throw the ball. You don't catch the ball in heavy traffic. You don't tackle people (generally) in the open field and have to deal with being juked out. You kick the ball. It's the same thing EVERY SINGLE time. It SHOULD be easy to train. If other positions can see replays to see what they need to work on, we should be able to too.

well, no one is really good at 50+ right now. My guy is deadly from inside 48 (I think only three misses all season) and wildly inaccurate from outside that range. Of course, I did hit a 59.5er in the league championship.

So, your guess is good as mine. Everything I try seems to make no difference (or not enough at least). I'm beginning to think maybe we should play with the offensive AI to limit his range and then use the "near FG range" options to go for it when the game is on the line and we are out of options.

If you want my guess from experience and checking out other kickers, you need 50+ strength to consistently kick long FG's. My kicker has very high confidence and still misses 40-49 yarders. Oddly enough, he does decently from 50+.
