Hello,

We are "merely" a BBB team and I know that probably is not what you want. However, if you want to go to a team that will undoubtedly appreciate your arrival and hail you as a savior, then please consider us.

In the offseason, we were forced to deal our franchise kicker (who had been with us since Day 1) and bailed us out as he made every kick there was. He decided to go to his wife's team, but they were nice enough to facilitate a trade for our current kicker. To say it is not working is an understatement. That's where you (hopefully) come in.

Your Kicker

I just read your post that said you're looking for an AA team or better, but I hope you'll consider us if offers don't come through. We are not far behind the talent level of an AA team, but we've been stuck in one of the toughest BBB leagues in the game. Our first two promoted teams went on to meet in the AAA championship, and they're in position to go to AA as well.

This changes a fair bit, maybe trendon sought to exact revenge on the Fire and me in Week 16.

EDIT - And I have a strange gut feeling I'm going to be accused of shining bad light on the NYL, so I'm going to say it right here. The Launch have already improved from what they were at the start of the season. If I hadn't known I'd go really far with the Fire, but did know the Launch would improve to make the playoffs, I would have probably signed with the Launch.

And, the funny thing is that Grant Leach, the guy we got, suddenly turned into a rock. I wonder if there was some change in the kicking logic for two weeks? Now, i wouldn't give him (Leach) up for anything.

In fact, if I ever find the thread where I indicated that Ivanovich (our former kicker) left, you'd laugh at the riot it caused ... for a kicker.

Note my half-hearted attempt to sign him message title.. Fortunately he was enthralled by the uniqueness of the team name.
