Just wondering if there are any SS's with 45+ strength. I also wanted to know if they saw any difference or affect with it...

I will have 20 points to spend at the start of season 5 and wanted to know if there was any real benefit.

Strength is just a rating how to break blocks.
I think 40 is ok

I have STR in the 50's, The only thing I can say is that I led my team in tackles with almost 100 and only missed 1 all year...and my TAK is not even 40

Leading your team in tackles is not a good representation of strength. My SS lead my team in tackles as well and lead the team with 5 FF's. I have 30 strength and 40 tackling. Yet I still had over 10 missed tackles due to the multiple power backs in the league and most of the HBs were higher level.

cool, but that mean, strength has nothing to do with made tackles. strength just increase the chance to break blocks

I have 46 str 46 tackling, and still missed 15% of my tackles... the only thing I noticed the STR helping me do is break tackles when I got the ball.

Strength has less to do with tackling this year than past seasons.

Strength *helps* with tackling, especially against power backs, but is not as important as the Tackling stat.

Nice to see we've come to no conclusion. I've noticed that against weaker players it plays no factor in missed tackles. But against stronger powerbacks its crucial. With the continuing rise of powerbacks, I'd keep it as high as possible without sacrificing tackling.

I have 50 tackling and haven't seen much difference in tackles.

i thought it was said strength had only a little effect on actually tackling but a large effect on FF

Thank you... I can actually use this info...

I was thinking the same thing since in my league there are a lot of strong backs that can break a lot of tackles..

I think increasing my strength will be crucial in the future of the game.. gotta think ahead..

i hit 50 at the start of season 4, doesnt seem to have made a difference.

however increasing my tackling/agility seems to have helped a lot.
