I have been gravitating towards putting all of my equipment points into one stat lately. With that in mind which stat would be the one for a SS? Both Vision and Agility seem viable. Would any of you split the points between the two stats? This SS is still low level, but both stats will be soft-capped at a minimum this coming season. Thanks for your help.

I'd say if it's a SS, vision; FS, agility.

I would recommend putting 40% of equipment into Speed, 30% into Agility and the other 30% into Vision.

Those are the 3 main skills needed to really do anything as a SS. This way your softcap for each will be higher than the standard 49 or whatever it is... As SS speed around or slightly over 60 will do just fine, even in the higher levels.

i would softcap speed and vision and split your equip bonuses between those two only. With a SS everything is important, obviously. Agil, str, tackling, stam, jumping, almost all of it, but vision is huge to get up so that all your other attributes can swing in line

i disagree with ashes and amo, speed isn't as important for a SS as agility and vision is. split your equipment between those two

Strength and Tackling are also important for SSs, especially run stuffing, or blitzing SSs (high str=shedding more blocks, FFs, tackling power backs). STR & TACKLING are also important skills for bringing down and/or shedding blocks from monster TEs, which typically run passing routes, or pull down field blocks against SS's defensive side. As for equipment, I suggest adding equipment bonus points for Speed, Agility and Vision. Easier to get past the soft cap on all three, since all three are primary attributes for safeties (SS & FS) in general. If you go with just two EQ bonus ATTs, then SPEED & VISION. But you'll have to spend +2 pts on AGILITY past the soft cap since it's also a crucial SS/FS skill.
