Unlike last season, we will open it to everyone. This is for two reasons: 1) what a pain in the ass it was to send 80 PM's and then collect the data and 2) there were too many damn ties and incomplete ballots.

So, we are using SurveyMonkey. Since I did not subscribe to the service, we have some limitations; namely, only 100 responses and limit on the amount of questions.

So, this is for the offense (and special teams) only. Defense will follow soon.

Warning!!! It was near goddamn impossible to pick a select few from each position, especially the skill spots. So, be easy on me.

Also, if you use the WRITE-IN field, I made it so you still have to select a player in that category as well.

Here you go ---> http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=MDXfr_2bvwYvo7ssWPgSAMiQ_3d_3d

Nice set-up. I voted.

However, I had to do 1 write-in for the HB position. I wrote in Brian Lowe from San Francisco: 352 carries for 2543 yards (#3 in the league), 7.2 yards per carry avg.(#4 in the league for RB with over 200 carries), 42 TD's (#4 in the league) and 4 FL's

I know you couldn't list everyone and you don't need all of us out here complaining about who was left off the list. I just wanted to get him an honorable mention if nothing else. All the guys you have there definitely deserve to be there, I just wanted to recognize Brian Lowe for a great season.

Andy Groom not on the Punting list? He lead the league in punting! Just didn't get enough punts for you?

Just messing with you, I know the list is hard to compile.

Some things you have to take with a grain of salt.. like heavy passing teams aren't going to get as much pancakes.. There's a reason all the punters are on losing teams.. you want to punt 45 yards for a season, go join a 1-15 team.

That makes no sense. My team was 16-0 and Groom had a higher punt average than everyone in the league.

Part of it was due to the fact that we rarely punted when the chance of a touchback was high.

Well there is a write-in. I wrote in Truck-Truck Goose at FB because he's meant a lot to TJ's ability to run the ball, and he's been a good weapon for us as well.

I have voted. That was a lot easier than last season! Nicely laid out!

I really hate it that pancakes are the only stat that offensive linemen have. Pancakes have nothing to do with how good the linemen are, and of course all offensive linemen come from the west because there are so many low level defensive players there. They really need a sacks allowed statistic.

It makes perfect sense Tom. The better the team, the less chance the punter can rare back and kick it for full distance. I have numerous TBs on my punter and his average was terrible. He was averaging like 32 yards for most of the season..yet in the playoffs when he had some field to work with and didn't keep hitting 17 yard TB kicks, he averaged 43.

All you have to do is look at the punters on the list and the teams, and what are their records?

Well, that's why I included the two additional stats that indicate the player's percentage of plays in which he recorded a pancake and the amount of pancakes he got relative to his team.
