They are currently LVL 11, but have all three boosts remaining that will be used at the end of the season. The team they were on didn't have a chance to make the playoffs, so I saved the boosts to get max training SP's. Even as backups and several levels lower than the starters, they outperformed the starters.
My guys will be LVL 14 before next season, and will boost for a playoff run. I will have upgraded Custom Equipment for them at the start of next season. They don't need to start, but they do need good playing time to continue to develop.
