DEMONS STADIUM - Farkistan Demons owner and general manager Caeldan announced today that the Farkistan Demons will cease operations as of the end of this season.

When asked, he simply referred to an unnamed collection of issues that have just led to him feeling unable to continue as an active owner and general manager. 'I must be fair to the players'. Caeldan stated that he simply did not have the time to commit to the team anymore, and wished to focus his attention to a smaller scope of issues within the league, and while other options were investigated - allowing the team to enter a fresh period of ownership seemed to be best option.

Due to the uncertainty revolving around the team's future, all players have been offered a chance to leave the team at the end of the season. Should they wish to stay with the team, they can continue to honour their current contracts. Caeldan stated that he will work with the agents if requested to find them new teams to play on.

Since beginning operations in Season 2, the Demons had continually improved culminating in their first playoff appearance this season. Caeldan stated he will not be looking for ownership again.

Yes, please try doing that. The Kahunna's last owner went inactive, and the new one hasn't said a word to the team. If your team folds as well then that's 2 playoff teams from the west that won't be making a return trip next year.
