Since my other thread got cluttered with physic bullshit, I'm posting them here.

West

1. New Brunswick Sentinels vs 5. Las Vegas Heat

-----------------------------------------------

This season the Sentinels began very weak on offense and relying heavily on their defense to keep the score down, and they did. However, with the pickup of stud runningback Bronko Nagurski the tables have turned and allowed both sides of the ball to be dominant and a force to be reckoned with.

On the opposite sideline, we have the Las Vegas Heat. 2 seasons ago? Not even a competitor. Hoax and company have built a stud team capable of upsetting pretty much anybody at any given time, and they're going to try to work their magic here today. However, they're going to have a tough time with those damn Sentinels.

Pick: New Brunswick 31-27

2. Double T Red Raiders vs 3. Rachesta Vendetta

-----------------------------------------------

Double T came as sort of a surprise to me this season, they always had the talent but were never able to execute 100%. They're facing their sort of "arch-nemesis" Vendetta who always seems to find a way to beat these guys. Double T is hoping their flashy offense can outpace the Vendetta.

Coming off their 16-0 season and heartbreaking loss to the Sentinels in the playoffs last season, many predicted Rochester would be the favored team yet again this season. However a few teams managed to beat Rochester in close matches allowing them to slip to the third seed. However they won their opening game at home and are away on this one, trying to do it again.

Pick: 24-17 Vendetta

East(yes, Intoxxx is doing east picks =/)

1. Michigan Panthers vs 5. Seattle Reign
--------------------------------------------

Michigan. 16-0. Why? Because Sanderval is a damn tactics genius...this guy spends months at a time in a dark cave perfecting these things, but it inevitably pays off for him. I picked Michigan at the very beginning of the year to go all the way, so my choice here is obvious.

Seattle is a Jekyll/Hyde(w/e) kinda thing. They are either REALLY REALLY scary, or they play way below their capacity. I predict them playing below it today, and a loss for them.

Pick: Michigan Panthers 38-14

2. Murder City Devils vs 6. Carson City Cubes
---------------------------------------------

Sorry J4, but I'm going to the movies, no time to write it up xD!

Pick: MCD 28-10

Nice write up, and can't wait to take on the heat in a battle of epic proportions.

Just out of curiosity how much do the vendetta want to play the sentinels in the championship? If these predictions come true we will have to really earn our nickname.

By association, that would make Binestar & meab geniuses also..

The Heat purchased a bunch of those ACME black circles that Wile E. Coyote "Genius" used to employ against his nemesis the Road Runner. Our defenders are trained strategically place the black circles down in the path of any damn Sentinels ball carriers. What could go wrong?

Should be a fun one today

16-0 was fun, but I can't take credit for it. We have four GMs for a reason and everyone does their job and does it well. Not saying I'm not a genius though for the record.

Vendetta would prefer that the Heat and Sentinels and Double T all pull out of the playoffs and we can go on to the league championship after 2 bye weeks.

Can't we all just combine and form Voltron?

The score on our game vs the Cubes will be a lot closer than that. Those guys are almost of Sandervalian genius tactics wise.

They beat us regular season 2, played us close season 3. Both games have been super tight.

OK...I'll confess we bought the entire line of ACME products. Lots of TNT, rocket packs, roller skates, all of it. Just for planning purposes, is the stadium near any cliffs?

God help us all if that sticks & becomes part of the BBB2 lexicon.. all forum skirmishes aside, Cubes do do a helluva job game planning far more often than not.

I also heard that the Sentinels have retained the services of a shaggy sheep dog whose hair hangs over his eyes.

I'm rooting for a Heat win, (obviously) and a Carson City upset. I wish I could play them SO BAD since there my old team. Maybe we should schedule a scrimmage or something.

I'm pretty sure we're not. Unless you mean you played under the previous owner. Thanks for the support though. Maybe we can pull off one of the trademark C^3 upsets again. It'd be a lot easier if MCD was at the #1 spot, but you never know.

Haha.. smack talk from across the other side of the bracket. Cool. Ironically, we've done better against MCD in recent history than we've done against the Cubes.. but then again we've never lost to either one, so I can find the upside to playing either of you. Course we still have to get past Seattle & it's not like that's a given.

Sanderval has pounded us in to the pavement both seasons. Mich is the #1 seed for a reason.
