Most teams change their D scheme based upon the number of WR.
The last team we played used a Cover 0 when we lined up in a 2 WR, 2 RB set (on 1st down and 3rd and short). I had a pretty good mix of passes called on 1st downs but when we would line up in 3 and 4WR sets, of course the D would play a Cover 2 man. They were able to shut down our running game and we probably only ran 1-2 pass plays out of the 2 back set all game.
How can I create more passes out of a two back set so teams can't just play a Cover 0 to stop the run? Specifically longer passes would be nice.
