Most teams change their D scheme based upon the number of WR.

The last team we played used a Cover 0 when we lined up in a 2 WR, 2 RB set (on 1st down and 3rd and short). I had a pretty good mix of passes called on 1st downs but when we would line up in 3 and 4WR sets, of course the D would play a Cover 2 man. They were able to shut down our running game and we probably only ran 1-2 pass plays out of the 2 back set all game.

How can I create more passes out of a two back set so teams can't just play a Cover 0 to stop the run? Specifically longer passes would be nice.

Well the way the AI is set up right now if you say to go for longer passes it's going to use more 3 and 5 WR formations.

You'll probably get more passes from 2 WR formations if you set the play distance to short (maybe medium, too).

The offensive AI needs to have the choice of formation. Right now, it makes it too easy to defense based on on-field personnel.
