Probably been discussed already... Damn you search option!

Does anyone know what fixes or reduces this juggling of the ball to occur. It appears that my player is juggling the ball sometimes before he catches it. I am not sure what is going on since some of the plays it appears the defender is far enough away then my WR juggles the ball which allows the defender to close in, but then the pass comes up as a deflected and not dropped. This is just confusing the Hell out of me?!?!?

~Dazed and Confusededed

If you look I have catching soft capped.

I think someone once suggested carrying helps reduce the juggling from the time you touch the ball. I can't confirm this, nor do I subscribe to this theory, but I would love it if there was a simple fix like that to bobbling balls.

Sticky hands, catching, vision and jumping would be my guess.

I am in the process of soft capping agility at about 38 right now so in 2 levels it will be. I am training vision... then more then likely train jumping next.

I would love it also if there was a simple fix. You really can not tell what is going on with a pass since you can not see if the ball is perfect, too high, too low, or too wide.

Thanks for the input. I'll post later if I notice a difference after soft capping agility.

Not true , carrying only starts when you have the ball under control . Admin said so

i think your buddy icon is broken. i held down the alt, +, f, and 4 keys and nothing happened.

also very true with carrying. Bort did post that a higher catching is supposed to reduce juggles. if youre still seeing some its more than likely you getting to balls because of your high catching most people would just get an incomplete on. the only thing close to comprehensive out there right now is showing people with higher jumping and vision are having lower drops. only advice anyone can give you right now thats even a small step above a guess.

Yeah I've been trying to fix the icon

But the hard thing about drops is that its hard to tell if it's your own fault or a bad throw from the QB ?

I don't know what you guys are talking about, the altf4 works fine for me, when I do it it shows a toilet full of ice and cans of beer.

So what's the consensus on catching, my fellow WR forum whores?

Soft cap it?
Deal with the drops that come with it?
Plug speed and agility?

or

Keep plugging catching until you get a second or 3rd cap?
Build up vision, jumping.

If I'm going to have to drop a ton of points to improve my catch ratio by a catch or 2, I'm not sure that is worth it. Thoughts?

I would say deal with the drops . Only downside is it gives you some more catches o_O
