Let's hear it guys. The Teabaggers beat the NightHawks 33-10 nearly 2/3rd's of the way through the regular season. Since then Tallahassee has continued to roll along finishing the regular season without a blemish on their record while dispatching the RGB Beserk in the first round of post season play.

The NightHawks seemed to use that loss, their second in a row including a loss to the Fresno Jaguars, to turn their season around offensively. A new playbook was installed, tested and went into play for their next game. Since then the NightHawks have gone undefeated including what was then considered upsets over Dallas, RGB, and San Diego. They opened playoff play with a last second victory over the Anchorage Maulers bringing them to their matchup with the Teabaggers.

The question remains, are the NightHawks upgrades of scheme and talent enough to overcome the 24 point differential they faced from their first matchup with the Teabaggers?

How do you guys see this matchup?

This will be the best game of the playoffs. I want the Teabaggers to face a real test, and it seems like we'll get one.

Hoping for a great game. No more lols out of me. This is the playoffs. I use REAL commas now. Has anyone else noticed that these close games between the good teams always seem to have a defensive TD in them?

It's tough to say, Tucson is a bit of an unknown at this point having boosted late and playing Anchorage who I believe also had a lot of late boosters. The margin of victory over Anchorage was similar to earlier in the season, and they seemed to control more of the game. However, Tucson gave up more big plays, and to go along with that more yards.

Doing a little team analysis,

Avg Roster Level
Tallahassee - 24.9
Tucson - 25.9

Over a 40 man roster that's an additional 200 skillpoints, or an additional 55 skillpoints (11 players) on the field at any given time. Advantage - Tucson

Avg Starter Level
Tallahassee - Offense 27.73, Defense 27
Tucson - Offense 27.73, Defense 27.9

Starting lineups are a pretty close matchup, Tucson has just a slight advantage on defense with a 0.9 level difference in the starters. Advantage - we'll call it a draw.

Depth
Tucson has incredible depth on their roster, 3 HB's, lvl 24 and up, 4 OT's, 5 WR's, 4 DT's, 6 DE's (are you kidding me?) are all areas where they have more, and better quality (at least level wise) depth than Tallahassee. Tallahassee does have 5 safeties on their roster as compared to Tucson's 3, but if your wearing your safeties out, it's not a real good sign. Advantage - Tucson.

On paper, barring records, it clearly looks like Tucson would have to be the favorite for this game, however, there's more to the game than just having the highest level players. Anchorage exploited some areas in the Tucson system, and ended up losing on a late TD with 41 seconds left. Tallahassee has rolled through the season relatively unscathed showing remarkable consistency, and very few flaws. I don't know if I'd call it the game of the playoffs. It may prove to be, if Tucson is as good on the field as they are on paper, and if you're involved I could see it being a big game for you. However, as I pointed out earlier, we don't really know how good Tucson is at this point.

Tuscon hasn't given up that many big plays all year long. The Maulers found something to exploit. I bet Moses doesn't let it happen again. You said Tucson gave up more big plays and more yards but that isn't true. Tucson outgained Anchorage.

I think it will be a big game. The game of the playoffs might be a stretch, maybe not, we will see.

I probably wasn't real clear, I was comparing the game last night with the game earlier in the season. Tucson gave up more yardage and more big plays last night than you did in the earlier contest. I have no doubts it will be addressed, and I would never claim the Tucson defense was a weakness.
