So matta's spreadsheet predicted a tie, which would be about par for the course in this division - I guess that would have Rapid City playing the Caprica Otters for the West trophy?
Anyway, had to get me own guesses in, after pretty much nailing the East, but missing at least one in the west - at least it was my pick for most likely upset?

Anyway -
Rapid City vs. WCBW Vikings:
The Vikings took this one last season, and I don't doubt Rapid City has been halfway hoping for a shot at some playoff redemption. Here they get their shot. I think it'll be close, but I think Rapid City takes it.

DVDTalk Otters vs. Caprica Bucs:
This could well be the game of the week this time around with two tough, deserving teams. I think DVDTalk may have a slight edge here, and takes a competitive game.

NBSK vs. Miami Hammerheads:
Normally I'd wonder if there was anyone the Knights would want to play less than the nly team to beat them during the season, but I have a feeling Nike-Joe and co. are looking forward to trying to prove they can take this one when it counts. And seeing as how I predicted them to go to the big game this season, I'd be contradicting myself if I said I thought they'd be wrong. NBSK by a score or two.

I'll fill in for Gwenn on NH-Salem

Salem has made amazing strides and they fully deserve their rep as a tough team, and a tough out in any tourney. But NH is the total package, strong at every position, no holes in the roster, impeccable game planning, and they have been killing people. NH by 10+.

Also, I predict that the Hammerheads will get their heads severely hammered. How that translates into a score I'm not sure.

Yeah Salem is for real....ask the sliding Makos. We need an offensive coordinator to gameplan. Anyone interested lol. Also we need a GM who doesn't forget to re-sign his lvl 29 LB the day of a big playoff game....that dubious distinction would fall on this GM, yours truly. Never good having your lvl 29 LB sit out the biggest game of the season but then again when you score 0 it really doesn't matter. Good luck everyone still standing. See ya next season.

I can accept this...but all season long Matta nad his spread sheet has predicted us to get blow out...
I like a fun friendly rivarly...but I have to take up for the guys on my team now....after all season we been "the surprise team" and have to prove ourselves.Or what ever... I will say it now...no blow out!!!!
But it does get old hearing that some one is going to hammer us...the only team to really put a beat down on us was the Hustlers
so if you guys what to try... here we are!!!

Ouch, I know how that feels. I did that with one of our DEs last season. Also forgot to keep track of my players on the Michigan Panthers - had to re-sign 3 of them mid-season. (Not my responsibility there, but I have the ability)

I also have no doubt at all that we'll see the Makos right back in the playoffs next season.

I love the title of the thread (now with no ties). Thanks for the kind words in the prediction for our game. I will admit to a talented coaching staff. Our only weakness is at OC...

As to Salem, I think it will be close. It will be interesting to see how the game plays out. I think they have assembled a great team.

Luck is a funny thing..In my line of work luck is what you make of an mistake made by another person.
