I have heard it referenced to but I want to know if you could actually create one.

I dont think so. The zones are deep Zones for the safties. The robber would have to allow one of the safties to go deep while the other moves in. If its done, I would say it would only be by the random play generator, that is set up for the linebackers to go in zone, so one of the backers would have to go deep while the saftey moves in.

Isn't the MLB usually the robber?

No. Robber coverage schemes invert the safeties to load the box and revert the corners to cover deep. And, quite honestly, without the ability to plan for an offensive package or for the defense to audible, it is insane to institute a robber scheme as your base package since the offense can easily stretch it out.

I do a robber style with the Mike pulling back with the FS with the SS adding to the box in usually a man cover of the tight end or back in the real world, its kinda a "cover 3 with the Mik and 2 CB's. In GLB the wil and in-sam cover flats in man to man with the o-sam in zonecan produce the effect of a robber while in 3-4 with the CB's in zone long. but yeah it's prety impossible to set up a robber play in GLB till they get more realistic.

If you use it too much it then becomes part of your base. Your usually "robbing" a part of the field with a safety or corner that usually doesn't cover a certain area. Teams will "rob" if they know when your gonna run a certain play to a certain receiver to get a INT. Thats how you get those terrible INT's. When the announcer says the QB didn't see him is most likely the QB never thought he would be there.

Mattman had one posted. It looked like a cover three and the safety jumped into one of the seams and picked off the QB.
