And then there were two. Two very tough teams have fought there way to the finals. I am not sure when the game will be played because of the league playoffs but probably during the offseason. Good luck to both teams.

(16) EZ Company http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1754
(7) Atlanta Purple Penguins http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1489

Game Played Purple Penguins win 31-16

BBB#5 put 2 teams in the final 4 and you still won't play anyone from our conference so again tom Shut the Fuck Up. The Penguins will murder EZ and it will be by more than 28 points. Till you play someone, go fuck yourself.

I think it says something about the depth of the BBB leagues that a "7" and "16" seed are the two finalists. I know the ratings are a little subjective, but that is still quite a statement. I also know the Vendetta learned a lot about settings (especially the DAI) as a result of a stretch of games that included being able to play against the best of the BBB and the best in BBB#2. I'll echo the sentiment, thanks for your work putting this tourney together.

Those aren't seedings, they are the League they come from.

OH! When were the seeds discussed? I know there was a seeding process, but I didn't really pay any attention because I didn't think it would matter too much in the end. When I saw the final four, I noticed the numbers and assumed they were seeds. Sorry about that. No disrespect meant to anyone.

There was no formal seeding process. Lost just tried to get teams from each league and prevent them from playing each other too early in the tournament. In an ideal world, he had 2 teams from every league for 32 total. He bracketed half 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8.... and the other half 1-16, 2-15, 3-14, 4-13.... Since there was no good way to compare teams between leagues, there was little seeding done.

However, some leagues sent no representatives and some sent as many as 5. When this occurred, lost had to make adjustments, especially when more than 32 teams chimed in asking for a slot. He created a "play-in" round, and had to seed teams in order to decide who would have to play an extra game to qualify for the main tournament. Some teams objected to the seedings that lost used despite his Herculean attempts to be objective and encourage input and ultimately withdrew. Most stayed and had an opportunity to match up against other quality BBB teams.

So there really was very little in the way of formal "seeding" and what seedings that did occur had little impact on the outcome of the tournament.
