Trying to figure out who the 4th CB replaces. Am I losing another LB or safety in this formation? Thanks for the help.

You lose the LOLB, leaving only the MLB.

FS and SS never come out. It's always one of your front 7 that is replaced.

4-2 = lose the ROLB
3-3 = lose the DT

4-1 = lose both OLBs
3-2 = lose the DT and LOLB

3-1 = lose the DT and both OLBs

Oh, and I don't know which ILB you lose if you're running a 3-4 base, as I don't run a 3-4 at all.

If anyone does run the 3-4, and knows which ILB stays in on each formation, that might also help people with the same question.

I believe it uses the LB that you have in the MLB spot. So place the LB you want to stay in there when it drops one of the ILB.

Okay. That makes sense. I wonder which ILB stays in if you don't have anyone on the MLB depth though? Not that there'd be a reason to do that... If you're running a 3-4, you'd likely put both ILBs at the MLB, with 99/98 settings, or something.

I run the 3-4; and I believe (using memory here) that it was the LILB; but I actually ended up placing the LILB into the MLB position after a few games, and he's always in there now.
