Considering we got 0 sacks and they passed more than they ran it seemed like the wrong thing to do. I know you can't tell now, but their overall was 3 higher, they had an extra win at the time and everyone in the SEA AA 4 forum thought they would win. It was definately an upset.

I think that had less to do with your defense and more to do with their defense not being able to stop your offense.

and you didnt even come close to stopping the run... had they ran the ball more they would have probably beaten you.

Tactics and Gameplanning don't make much of a difference at all in deciding games.

This is 4 seasons now that I have owned my team without noticing that stuff matters much compared to player builds. Your oldest players is like mid season 3 and you think you know otherwise? Plus you don't even own a team. I have done anything and everything with tactics every which way you can think of. We have played some teams 3 and 4 times and been able to judge it against those teams that don't change much and not seen it make a difference. We beat the teams we should and lose to the teams we figure we will lose to. Chemistry has had more of an effect on winning and losing than gameplanning and tactics ever have.

You've owned your team for 4 seasons? And you're in BBB still? Think there might be something to that?

I absolutely guarantee that game planning can be the difference in any close game. Just because you only win the games you're supposed to and lose the ones you aren't doesn't mean other teams aren't perfectly capable of game planning for a tough game and seeing it pay off.

Going from 8-8 to 10-6 and 13-3 is a decent progression considering we have been together as a team that long. So when you get a team I expect you to win it all the first season and get promoted. Your clearly making assumptions. We have no proof setting tactics can make a difference because even if your tactics were set to stop a said play if the other teams build trumps yours they will succeed no matter.

Tactics and gameplanning do matter dude... I dont know what your league is like but mine is all about gameplanning. The competition in my league is pretty solid all round and if you don't have the right defensive play to stop and offensive play you get beat and beat bad...

I played the computer (basic) gameplan for 4-5 games this season and we didn't do so well.. After I got the hang of the defensive AI we have been rock solid and haven't lost a game yet. It does make a difference at least in my league... You just need the right plays to counter your opponent...

I'm sorry but game planning is what separates good teams from great teams.

Two of the teams I game plan for pulled off upsets against teams with significantly more talent that beat us soundly during the season when we didn't have our best game plan.

If they ran the ball more they would have won. Dopes.

The whole point of the AI is not to stop a particular play, it is more to put your players in the position to make a play.
