Take this with a grain of salt, but i learned that the server for GLB is in the gulf states like Flordia or something and that the server was down for a couple of hours during the morning. Now as u guys saw, we beat beertown 24-20 last year, but lost by 40 points this season? makes no sense, the server must have done something odd during the downtime and when it came up, it gave us a lop sided score.

anyways, i pmed a GM and wanted to know if this is true. i get back to u guys when i hear anything. if this theory is wrong, than i will say, "good game beertown" if not, than once again we got unlucky.

You guys can always schedule another scrimmage to get a fair game then. I'm sure BTB won't mind.

Okay, here is the reality:

Gustav did cause a problem that resulted in the sim having corrupted data when it imported our team into the game. For one reason or another it caused this egregious error and Bort has refunded me the 25 flex I spent on the game.

I wanted to just keep everyone quiet on the forums so that Beer Town could just enjoy their "victory" and just to squelch it before anyone had their feelings hurt.

I've accepted Bort's apology and moved on; we shouldn't worry too much about it. He tells me this shouldn't happen again.

That is true showmanship. Way to stick with it, fellas.

i told admerylous we should offer them another matchup before end of regular season. he said maybe we should wait till offseason when we get our new players in. but their will be a rematch for sure in the next month.

but come on, we beat them by four points just a month ago and now lose by 39 points? come on. u know something fishy is going on.

I know! Isn't weird how you can play someone and beat them, and then a season later they blow you out?! That definitely doesn't happen in real life.

This stuff really pisses me off. I wish Bort would get these server issues fixed sometime soon. Sorry to hear about it CAPS.

Well we will know just how much it is actually weakening tomorrow. If you guys do not win by 400 points it would stand to reason that the hurricane is still strong and fucking you guys yet again, right in the brownyhole.
