Warrior General Games

My team is making the playoffs, but I thought I would set up a tournament where only non-playoff teams square off. I'm imagining a 16-32 person field and will cap it at 32.

The only rules is that you can not have made the playoffs and are willing to pay for the contest if you are the lower seed. I will determine the seeds once all the teams have been entered.

*in my best infomercial announcer voice* But wait, there's more. I am going to have prizes for the winners:

3rd place - will get one player of mine signed to a one year contract, use him as you want or trade him
2nd place - will get two players of mine signed to a one year contract, use him as you want or trade him
1st place - will get two players of mine signed to a two year contract, use him as you want or trade him

I'll post a list of the available players (they will all be level 20+ minimum) as soon as the offseason hits, 1st place will get 1st pick, 2nd place 2nd pick, and 3rd place can then make their picks.

First come, first serve. If 16 teams have not signed up by Tuesday, then I won't run it. If we get to 16 but less than 32, I'll figure out a way to make it work.

chances are we wont make the playoffs but the Jokers are in.

I think the USA Pro Western teams(San Jose, Dayton, Minnesota or Kailua, take 2) and the Warpath or the Nasty are the best teams who didn't make the playoffs.

is it going to be broken up into levels A AA AAA etc

I think the USA Pro Western teams(San Jose, Dayton, Minnesota or Kailua, take 2) and the Warpath or the Nasty are the best teams who didn't make the playoffs.


It would be an interesting battle between those teams, but I think we would come out on top. Warpath vs Beans would be a pick'em game if I was setting the point spread.

The Warpath's 20-0 loss to Dryden though makes me feel that we are the better team:

Especially because they allowed 10 SACKS to GReddy Twin Turbo alone. We have a couple mini-Twin Turbos on our squad.

I was actually going to make the brackets heavy one side/weak the other side so that the weaker teams could at least have a chance to get the 2nd/3rd place prize. Up to 5-6 teams, still 10 more needed to make this a go. I suppose I could go spam the league forums but I kinda hate doing that. I'll give it a little more time.
