Figured I'd go ahead and start this thread for Matta in advance.

Also to GwennA, buzzkill and NeonFlame - Do we really have to play you guys? Can't we just call it a season already. Maybe I'll make it brown paper bag night so the fans can wear them over their heads...lol. Or maybe I'll go to customer service and petition for a last-minute change so we can play Michigan. We better get a good draw next season.

Anyway I don't think it will be the 100-point drubbing it was last season.

Yeah, I have a feeling it'll be closer than last season. You guys are improved, no question.

<-----The paper bag Idea may not be so hot! The hammerheads feel your pain though, we have to play Anchorage the last game. This is going to be one of the toughest games of the season. Especially since we don't know who they are, or what they can do. GL to the both of us, and NH as well...gotta root for NH to win this one though.

After watching a ton of our team in the low 60's for energy post-Michigan, we're not going to be trying to run anything up, trust me. We want the W to close things out, but final scores and things are pretty much meaningless here, and I'd really rather not go into the playoffs with no energy again.
Besides, I wasn't kidding when I said you guys had improved. Better by far over last season, and before long people in the mid-to top of the division are going to have to sweat those games.

Frankly, while we are the only team to even give NB a sweat, we aren't in their league yet. Next season with boosting and leveling and such I am not even convinced we will be the front runners. We were also rans who didn't even make the playoffs last season, food for thought.

Err, are you sure? Unless I understand something wrong, they are set. Even if SWBM wins and Detroit, Vice City and Atlanta lose, you would still be out. There would be a 3 way tie at 9-7, and Detroit and Vice City both beat SWBM. Unless my understanding is incomplete?

NM, SWBM beat Vice City, I got that wrong. Makes a lot more sense now. Well I'm not gonna role over out of charity!

So if Atl wins, SWBM wins, and Vice City loses, we get a muck-fest again in the east. If Detroit loses, it gets even better. Awesome!

Vice City lost to SWBM, so they could still be in it with a VC loss
