I am toying with the idea of a psycho rushing Powerback, blasting through any defensive like a truck.

My idea so far:
1st softcap on Strenght and Carrying, then Agility and Vision. Then get Strenght to 2nd softcap and get the SA Tree up as well. This should take 20 or so levels. Plus equipment will make him a serious threat.

My idea isn't to make a fast Full Back, but a ballcarrying powerhouse trampling over the D-Line.

your call but if the DT can catch you (and they will with poor speed) they'll bring you down due to their superior strength - trust me, i'm planning on soft capping a DT to 68 before moving on to other stats. if a good DT can manhandle two OL and still stop the rush, then how do you intend on breaking through? - speed will buy you time to pass the DT and head straight for the juicy LB and CB targets

for example, my DT: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=830324

he reached the 1st soft cap for str at lvl 4. i'll continue pumping SPs into str until he hits the 2nd soft cap. with agility and vision he'll have the arms to deal with your slow FB

only an opinion, but if you want to build a beast just to toss D-men around, soft cap str to the 2nd, then soft cap agil then soft cap speed. its something i'm toying with atm: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=840950

a better experiment would be to have a LG that can carry - now THAT would be a sight to behold lol

I softcapped Strength, now I am working on speed and agility. I seem to do fairly well...manage to lead block OK and averaging over 4 yards a carry this season.

TBH most teams are cupcake teams compared to RR.

Well...maybe so, but it also makes your stats unrealistic, and doesn't really show that you have a good build.

No offense, it is probably better than mine, but playing against cupcake teams makes it difficult to prove how good it is.

Yeah I know what youre saying, we shall see how he does in the playoffs - always a better representation of player skill.

He is on your team

I guess I worded it a little personal, oh well.

Cupcake teams are a part of the game, that player has had a game or two more than most players typically do... but he still managed a very good season if you take away the cupcake games (well at least for a FB).

It's all relative though. You compare his season to other players in the same position from the same conference to measure success. My FB has had a few games against cupcake teams, but he's still a few hundred yards (and a couple dozen pancakes) ahead of any other FB in his conference. He also leads the entire BBB#14 in both yards and pancakes for FBs.

Not to say my build is the greatest (because I know it isn't, I'd have done a few things differently, but he was my first GLB player). Plus he has a slight level advantage over most other FBs in BBB#14. He has done well, even if you consider that though... so his build is effective.

Another example of a rushing FB: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=34423

Don't neglect speed/agility, but strength will be your bread and butter.
