Multiple Scorgasms – 3 Rohrheim Stampede – 3
-The Scorgasms all but assure themselves of a playoff berth and completely eliminate the Stampede from the post-season in one fell swoop. While the running game continues to struggle for Multiple, the passing game exploded for a whopping 16.3 yards per attempt! WR Kristianna Loken led the way with 5 catches for 172.5yds and 2 TDs, including this (http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=85619&pbp_id=7175655) long TD catch, breaking through 2 Rohrheim defenders en route to the end zone. The Stampede, now officially out of the playoff picture, go into evaluation mode to try and make it back to the “2nd season” next year.
Game MVP: Multiple QB Jo’Moxon (9/10, 213yds, 2 TDs) connected for 2 deep TD passes to drive the nail in the coffin.
Paper Bag Award: Rohrheim DBs. This group let the Scorgasm WRs & TEs run around all day virtually unchecked.

Oxford Eagles – 34 Valencia Billy Goats – 14
-While the Goats got to the end zone first, the Eagles got there more often in a closer-than-it-looks win. Even with the 20pt win, the Eagles outgained the Goats by a mere HALF YARD! Valencia’s passing game continues to have success, but their ground game was once again too soft for the Goats to be able to sustain drives. The overall offensive balance of Oxford was too much for Valencia to handle.
Game MVP: Oxford CB Gonzo “Beep Beep” Gonzales (3 tackles, 2 sacks). Led the team in sacks?!?
Paper Bag Award: Valencia OL. Not only were they pushed around by the Oxford DL (2ypc) they gave up 2 sacks to a CORNERBACK!

Frankfurt HEAT – 30 Paris Musketeers – 13
-A strong second half showing by Frankfurt sends the Musketeers further down the ranks and most likely out of a home playoff game. Paris showed an improved passing game, but their bread and butter, pound it down their throats rushing attack was again held in check. Frankfurt DT THE Fortson was the primary reason for this, stuffing the middle of the field while racking up 8 tackles (1 TFL). The HEAT look to have a home playoff game locked up with an almost certain win against Valencia next week before a tough interconference game against AWC. Paris is still most likely in, holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Aggies and Roughnecks, but must have two consecutive strong showings to refine their gameplan.
Game MVP: Frankfurt QB Jimmy Jimmy Clausen (13/24, 189yds, 2 TDs) overcame 2 early sacks to throw a pair of 4th quarter TD passes to put the game out of reach.
Paper Bag Award: Paris WRs. 4 drops on only 21 pass attempts makes it hard to sustain drives.

Reykjavík Aggies – 24 MA Trolls – 30
-MA owner Capn Crunch is likely buying an entire new supply of underwear after this thrilling game. The Trolls grabbed an early lead only to have Reykjavik come racing back in the 4th quarter, nailing a 21yd field goal with 30 seconds left to tie the game. Of course, these wouldn’t be the Aggies we’ve come to know and love if they didn’t blow it at the last second, which happened when MLB KAboom I. blewyouupAgain intercepted a pass with 16 seconds left and returned it to the Troll 35yd line setting up the game winning field goal, which K Heywood Jablowme missed from 52yds out. The Reykjavik offense sputtered in OT and gave the Trolls the only chance they would need to secure the game. MA now has a home playoff game guaranteed and most likely has the #1 seed locked up. Reykjavik must win both remaining games to assure themselves of meaningful post-season play.
Game MVP: MA HB Victor Stagnetty (23 rushes, 81yds, 1 TD) carried the team in OT, rushing 7 times for 21yds and scoring the game winning TD.
Paper Bag Award: Reykjavik K Heywood Jablowme (1/4 FGs). I hate picking on this guy so much, but missing EVERY FG over 21yds, including the potential game winner with 11 seconds left, cements his spot here.

Rotterdam Roughnecks – 37 Bari Barracudas – 0
-Bari tried to muster up some of the same mojo that led them to an upset of the Stampede last week, but the Roughnecks were having none of it. Rotterdam continues to show off a balanced attack that has teams struggling to figure out a game plan. Barracuda QB Shane Falco Jr. threw his first INT in his last 4 outings, ending his impressive run.
Game MVP: Rotterdam HB Pain Train 21 (13 rushes, 68yds, 1 TD) may be the most explosive playmaker in a stacked Roughneck backfield.
Paper Bag Award: Bari HB Mack Jones (8 rushes, 21yds) was non-existent today.

Rivals Mainboard Pimps – 48 Korb Destroyers – 17
-How low can you go? The late season collapse of the Destroyers has everyone in Korb scratching their heads and scrambling for answers. The Pimps continue to show up as perhaps the team to beat in the playoffs, this time utilizing their impressive WR corps to keep the Destroyers in a constant backpedal. Rivals DE Mr. Bundy continues his consistently high level of play, collecting 2 sacks against a stout Korb OL. The once dominant rushing game of the Destroyers is struggling and their recent rash of turnovers haven’t helped matters. They must take better care of the ball if they want to MAKE the playoffs, much less advance in them.
Game MVP: Rivals WR Preston Parker (8 catches, 92.5yds, 1 TD) isn’t the biggest name on the team but might be the most talented dot.
Paper Bag Award: Korb. All of them. Seriously guys, what’s going on?!?

DFools AllStars – 7 Oslo Berserkers – 31
-Oslo basically relied on their 2 biggest playmakers, HB Edgerrin Jones-Drew & WR Curro Skywalker, to stomp all over DFools. The AllStars are fighting valiantly but it’s hard to dedicate yourself when you know there’s only relegation in your future.
Game MVP: Oslo HB Edgerrin Jones-Drew (25 rushes, 160yds, 3 TDs) proves he’s the most talented Berserker every time he touches the ball.
Paper Bag Award: DFools Soak Ash (0 tackles, 2 missed) had to get his name on the stat sheet somehow, this was a bad way.

Stockholm Meatballs – 134 Sandford, Gloucestershire Policeman Officers – 0
-Stockholm stuffs their face with TDs, hoping scoring enough now will help them remember how to later.
Game MVP: Stockholm HB The Glow (28 rushes, 372yds, 12 TDs) was stat padding, yes, but he’s still an incredible runner.
Paper Bag Award: FDC. Seriously, I KNOW you didn’t gameplan for this, where’s our write-up!??!?!

How is our O-line supposed to block a CB? I blame that on our HB even if he was running a route

To block, usually the best thing to do is position your body in between the defender and the ballcarrier. It also helps if you use your hands and punch the defender.

I can give your dots lessons if you want

I boomer, i rarely give compliments but this is the best sentence written by a non-pimp player all season.
