I built my TE to power & finesse his way into "open pockets", he is great at consistently getting yards and downs... he isn't built for the occasional "go all the way" glory plays.
He has custom equipment and one equipment upgrade (will get the rest with signing bonus). He also has all his boosts but I don't want to drop any more money into the game just yet

I am not trying to brag, or expect a starting position with an exorbitant salary, it's late in the season and it's a competitive market.
