My FB went from my least favorite build to awesome over the course of this season. I was basically building him like a Guard in the backfield, specifically to maul people and its really worked out thus far. Last season he was worth 29 pancakes and thus far he's already up to 80 for this year.

I want to keep making this guy in to the best blocker possible and I'm about to level. I had been going by a guide that suggested 30spd/agi and working on other areas, but I see many of you in the forum emphasizing soft-capping agility.

Any comments will be appreciated, I just wanted to show what has been working for me.

Do you think you could reveal your Block abilities tree? Im trying to make a build similar to yours. Damn your HB is averaging 7 yardsa carry! That is impressive!

Sorry I forgot SA's I think they're a huge part of what's going right with this build. I'll add them.

SA's do play a huge role in blocking.

It kinda makes me sad how poorly my center does compared to my FB. I guess its to be expected, killing LBs/SS/CBs is alot easier than DTs.

This season has been really nice to our RBs. We have a straight power back and also a combo back who spells him, and both are having great seasons. The OC has recently started letting my FB get some carries in short yardage situations and its been going well.

34 pancakes in a single game, against a gutted team, is padding your stats a lot. I'm more of a balanced build and have 60 pancakes... to go with ~850 rushing yards on ~200 carries, for the season.

Overall your build is ok, but you have wasted at least a level worth of SP in stamina. Your speed is a little low for my taste. I'd also have gone more of a strength focus (over both strength and blocking).

I'm not trying to put you down or anything, it's merely constructive criticism and I'm glad you're having fun with your FB... personally I love mine.

My fullback is built to block and any rushing he has done is just icing on the cake. Having a ton of natural strength make him a short yardage option, but the focus is blocking.

I'm with you on that, just saying that blocking isn't necessary to have super high, to get good results. I just had 9 pancakes against a play-off team and my blocking is only at 49. I also had 9 carries in the game too, although they kind of stuffed me for a 2.5 YPC... the HBs both had ~5.5 YPC. That's usually more telling of how effective the FB is at blocking.

I really think that you'd see a lot more pancakes, if you were a little faster. It would also help make you more of a threat running the ball. FBs are a funny position in this game, most attributes help both aspects of our game (like strength, speed, vision and agility)... while carrying, blocking and specials only help one aspect or the other.

I figure I'll probably take agi/speed to the 2/1 softacp before I touch strength again, but its going to be a slow process in the high 20's.

Right or wrong I was jacking the hell out of the leadblocking SA, figuring that's my primary role.

Our blocking tree SAs are almost identical, 3-5-3-4-5, mine are a bit higher but I do have two levels on you.

As for attributes, yours aren't adding up for me... I have 15 more strength, 18 more speed, 7 more agility... 10 less blocking and 8 less stamina. Even with the 10 points for level difference, I still have more attributes and more SAs (in both trees).

I didn't slow build either, this was my first GLB player... yet I have probably 3-4 more levels worth of skill points. The only thing that I can think of, is that your stats are without equipment bonuses. In which case that's about a 22 point difference, which would make a lot more sense.
