Well folks the playoff race just got very very interesting.. San Fransico and the Bar Stars are now deadlocked.. Here is the senerio


Carolina faces Omaha.. As big as an upset over Orly was, thier no Omaha.. So it looks like a loss for them. Thier last game is agaisnt the Memphis Ghetto Dogs, again these dogs are going to be really tough.. Sadly it looks like those 2 games will be losses

San Fransico faces my Oakyville Nungas this week. And thier last game is against Loundon which will be an easy win..

If Carolina loses to Omaha
and If San Fran loses to Oakyville

that would leave a winner to to playoffs, loser go to scrimmage week 15 game!!!

If Carolina loses to Omaha
and San Fran beat Oakyville

then all San Fran would have to do EVEN IF THEY LOSE TO CAROLINA is beat the Cobras on week 16.

Ya I am following the race too, and I also found the western 8th seed intriguing. Anxious to see how it plays out.

Yeah, I am of course following this (lol). I knew wehn I saw the brutal end stretch that we would have to pull an upset to have a chance against San Fransisco. fortunately, we got that upset tonight. Now we'll have to focus on Omaha but we know how big that San Fran game could be if Oaky can hold on and win against them. We lost any chance to have any say in our prospects with the loss to a pre-gutted Rocky mountain in week one and close calls against Chattanooga and Oakyville (Before anybody says anything, San Fran did beat that very same pre-gutted Rocky Mountain team the very next week; so that is NOT a factor in our head-to-head playoff race with them). We've been close this year and it's been both frustrating and fun. This team went 0-32 in seasons 2 and 3 so learning to win football games has been a work in progress. Win or lose, The Bar Stars have had a ball this year and are glad to finally be getting their rebuild back to competitive play and having a chance each week.

Good luck to San Fran against Oakyville and we'll see you in game 15 in what should be a close one if the rest of the season is any indication ( But not too much luck, us Bar Stars are Nunga fans this week )

Oh, THAT guy? He was probably just drunk and lost. You probably should of just gave him a beer and a cab fare. If it was Carl Destroyer though (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=328156): Hell, I'm scared of that guy myself. He's Polish, drinks like a fish, and knows almost no English except "I make start" and "I make hit". He's reportedly wanted for gross intoxication and aggravated sodomy in several cities. I don't even know how the hell he gets to the games because we leave him at the airport every time in hopes that he won't find us. He thinks it's normal procedure.

I gotta say, y'all are making the playoff race a bit more interesting with the chatter here. The Wildcats pulled off this one against Oakyville in the final seconds. And can't wait to meet Carolina on the field next game. Y'all do look better than us on paper, but it looks like we're gonna take the final seed to the playoffs this season, yep. Whether we win or loose this next one. This challenge for 8th place is very interesting.

Well with Carolinas win over San Fran there is yet still no lock in yet. I both teams win next week Carolina will be the number 8 seed. San fran has a much easier opponent though and it will come down to the last game of the regular season.

Carolina controls their destiny. If they can beat Memphis there is no question they are a play off worthy team.

Yeah I'm hoping against hope my Bar Stars could pull off as huge upset. They are playing really well right now and are a dangerous team. We've been in every game we've played and I'm sure we'll give Memphis a tough test. But win or lose this next game, we know we are finally turning the corner on this team and anticipate being a strong player in the West next year. It's been fun.

tire out memphis for us please, i don't want a tough first round matchup =)

Probably not worth much since we were just playing with the settings in the scrimmage games. That, and we were trying players out of position to see what would happen.
