I boost my K to lvl 26, and ever since then he's been missing a PAT for 3 straight games. (Link if you're bored http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=152073 )Here's his stats:

Strength: 55.41
Vision: 49.54
Confidence: 51.23
Kicking: 86.6
SA's are 6/7/6
His secondaries (spd, agi, jumping) are at 19-20 each and play intensity has been on normal.

I cannot for the life of me see why the hell he's perfect for 48 straight prior kicks, gains 3 levels, and starts choking a kick each of three straight games. His morale is 100 (we won all 3) and he wasn't tired from 100 pt blow out games. The only remotely possible thing I can think of is stam (12.95) but two of his last misses came in the first half.

I know kickers aren't perfect on PAT's (not everybody can have a record like Elam); but my kicker has missed only One PAT each of the past two seasons. Is this bad luck, or has Bort been screwing around with the code again?

Just a bad luck streak. Happens to everyone.

Play him on hard. If it means you have to train stamina for a few days to get it up to 15ish, so be it.

I missed three straight PATs today (level 23), right at the start of the game. This depsite missing only one out of four FGs. I've now missed nine PATs this season. Luckily none of them were crucial, but it's getting very annoying (and worrying for the playoffs). The only thing I can think of is dumping yet more points into Automatic, but it's getting expensive for relatively little gain. Otherwise I'm very happy with my kicker. He's got a perfectly decent FG percentage and all but one of the misses were at the edge of his range. The PAT code seems screwed up to me. Yes there should be misses, but not 10%.

My kicker is going through a similar phase, 4 consectutive games with 1 missed PAT. And most of them are in the first quarter...so it's hardly a Stamina issue.

Me too. 7/9 PATs in 1 game.

I have 11 in Automatic and my kicker is still not very accurate.

The streak continues; 4 games in a row now I've missed a PAT. The bug thread seems to be getting responses, so hopefully a mod/admin will post something.

My kicker missed 3 XP's in his first 3 seasons. He's missed 7 this year.

He was better at level 4 than he is at level 28.

Third game in a row with at least one missed PAT. To many kickers with the same problem for it to be just a bad stretch.

Yeah same problem here.. obviously there's something amiss, maybe the automatic skill is buggy. I am 58/68 PAT's this season.
