BTB is compiling a nice collection of wins versus the lowly BBB#4. I guess they did deserve to move up after all. GG guys.

You passed the ball 5 times...
Good game though, I am interested in reviewing the game film to see how you stopped the Bullet.

Every once in awhile I get lucky, things go my way and score a hat trick in the 'A' league.
Then, if I fill in or ring down to B or C leagues it's almost just a matter of if I feel like getting one or not.
If I were to be a braggart about scoring a hat trick against guys in their first couple of years playing or just not very athletic I'd be considered (and rightfully so) to be a total piece of shit.

Okay.
Let me try to make the analogy a lot easier for you, JohniFlek.
Let's say you grew up playing football. So now you're 26 years old and your flag football team is doing alright in your league full of men that are in the same 'league' as you.
Now you decide, "man, I wish I could score 8 touchdowns today!"
So you go play on your thirteen year old nephew's team and achieve your victory.
Then you run over to the Gatorade cooler and dump it down your body screaming you are the God of the 13 year old boys football league.

Much better analogy. Interesting how you take friendly banter and turn it into a negative. Good luck with that.

That would be an acceptable analogy if BTB didn't JUST GET PROMOTED TO AN 'A' LEAGUE.
And what's the difference between the A and BBB leagues, anyways?

There's not that big of a difference. I don't give any credit to the argument that A is better than BBB. We spent 2 seasons in this league and enjoy playing the teams here. I would put cash down that any of the top teams in the BBB #4 would put a lot of the USA Pro teams to the test.
I don't think that teams should move up or down. I think a team should have to defend the title they won.

I'm sorry but when only two games of the regular season for the Capitals are seemingly meaningful or in significant danger (not to discredit teams other than Boston or Philadelphia), I consider that league to be not terribly strong.

At what point do we all get tired of playing each other? What I mean is if our top teams keep moving up, only to be replaced with teams that are likely to get blown out in our league, at what point does a guy say "fuck it, time to find a new game".
At some point they should shuffle the teams in the BBB leagues, or I can see most people getting bored with GLB.

Right now lower leagues collect gutted/bad teams I'd assume the A and AA levels are a bit better because they at least have a way to get rid of their King Donalt, Dusty Bakers, Chicago Shockers, ect. The west is a bit better with 5 tough teams while it appears the East only has 3.

It wasn't so long ago that you were saying that BTB wasn't worth your time. There is only a level or two difference in player development overall. There has just been too much shit tossed out in these threads to make it worth my time to serve you the crow you need to eat after a statement like that. If you are as good as you think you are and capable of being promoted then you should be able to compete with the A league guys. Do you think there is some sort of magic wand that gets waved over you and makes you suddenly better when you get promoted?
I think we have suggested shaking up the leagues more than once. One suggestion was to have a losers bracket in the playoffs to decide additional promotion opportunities. Gutted teams then would drop to the bottom and the winners in the second bracket would fill upward from there. That's a simplified version of the suggestion.
If the league doesn't promote/demote I think people would get bored quickly. While I wouldn't say that a team shouldn't defend its title, lets face the fact that people would probably just not stick around if it was the same shit season after season. The ultimate goal is to make it to the top and defend that title wouldn't you say?

A level or two in player development overall?
Your average backup out-levels our average starter...
You're the shittiest spin machine ever.
And I think almost everyone on the Caps has been relatively bored up until now. The lack of meaningful games and competition has a lot to do with it. I'd venture to say we had more fun in our first season getting whooped by packs of level 4-7s to our level 1s and 2s. When we won a game against higher level teams it meant something.
I think everyone, no matter your caliber of team, would have more fun out of more balanced competition.
