My RDE (set to Elusive) always seems to try to go between the LG and the LT (and fails almost everytime.) Once in a blue moon he goes outside the LT and then he's pretty successful (and that's where he's gotten all his sacks.) Is there an attribute I can work on that will make him go outside?

He has:
Strength: 53.83
Speed: 54.77
Agility: 68.77

Mine used to go outside then started doing what your guy is doing. Try to hit the gap wait a bit (few sec) then try out side.

You can't expect the DE to go around the OT every time for a sack...

Well if going through the gap never works, I'd expect him to try to go outside more often. But he's going at the the gap at least 3 times for every 1 he goes outside as far as I can see. That doesn't sound like "try to get around blocker using agilty" to me.

Sure it is, if the OT is getting back in his pass set really quickly, lots of DEs will cut back to the inside quickly to get to the QB faster.
