I know I read one of Bort's updates for this season was supposed to be that morale didn't take a hit if you were beaten by a heavily favored opponent. I don't think there's a bigger disparity on our schedule than Rapid City, and yet our players all took big hits just like always.
Did I miss where it wasn't implemented?

your losing streak is hurting you also. If you had a 1 game winning streak before it wouldn't have been so bad.

Completely agree. We're in the -3 for each loss category at the moment (under the original config). I was just wondering if the new settings were actually in place or not.

Morale hits have not been bad on the Gremlins at all, except for the couple three players who our only five or six levels behind.

Looking at some of my players, I'm pretty sure they're in place. I think its not so much individual losses in many cases as prolonged losing streak that may be costing you guys.

Our numbers are actually all over the board. It's an interesting case study since we have this lovely losing streak that includes a couple woulda/couldas, along with a couple never-had-a-chances.

A few guys are still in the high 90s, others down in the mid-80s. It seems to be related to the number of plays; the more a player is on the field for a loss, the worse his morale. Our deepest reserves are still happy as a lark.

I'm pretty sure it also has to do with a player's confidence. Individuals with higher confidence stats take smaller morale hits, while very low-confidence players are much more susceptible to such changes.

I thought that as well until I compared morale ratings to confidence. It definitely slows the drop if a player's confidence rating is high, but for everyone else it doesn't seem to have an effect. We've got players up near 30 for Confidence who's morale is worse than guys at 19. The only consistent trend I can identify is to the number of plays.
