I am a new owner which received a fairly lousy team. I have a lot more going out in daily salary than what is being brought it.

What should I do besides releasing players?

With Stadium construction should I take out a loan?

When does the trading deadline end?

Acutally I have about 50 questions on finaince aspect of GLB. Sorry just a little green

It can, depending on your fan support. It's somewhat random, though.

I tried raising it to the max a couple games ago and we made more money. Then I lowered everything by a dollar and we sold less of everything but beer, which resulted in getting over $60,000 less. Fan support had gone up between those two games, also, so who knows why we sold less.

Trading deadline is passed.

You should take out a loan for construction but only right before the last day to process upgrades and then pay it off right away.

Just from glancing at it, you look like you'll make the rest of the season in terms of salary even though you have little revenue coming in besides concessions, just keep going if you can and in the off-season sell (trade) off some of your excess players to help get some extra cash (for example you have 3 qbs and only need 1, 2 at most, you have 14 o-lineman and only need around 8, you have 10 d-lineman and only need 7 or 8 etc).

Main thing you need to do in the off-season is get rid of excess players (I would trade for cash, even min-cash rather than outright release) and get that stadium built up. If you look at the team I have and our stadium, we started at the same time, and I have several sections already paid for for next years construction.

As far as the last day for to process upgrades are you talking about right before day 0?

Yes, the day or two before..... The date from the loan continues even during the off-season, so if you take it the first day after the play-offs and the off-season is particularly long for whatever reason you could potentially end up with a payment and interest before the season even starts. You should also be paying off your loan before the first payment is due every single time if you're using it for construction.

You absolutely want to get the loan to finance construction. That's vital.

If it was me, I also wouldn't carry all those CPU players through the end of season. Cut them unless you absolutely don't have any human players to cover.

QFT

Biggest mistake you can make is having CPU's on your team now if you have a human player to fill their role. While you can't cut humans without a penalty, you can fire all the CPU's and save some cash. Yeah, it will crush some of your team's energy levels but you're not making the playoffs so go ahead and start working on things for next season.

I have read all of these and I really appreciate it. I will be doing major construction. We are a backwards franchise but we will try and turn things around here. Again thank you very much. SO many people on here don't want to offer anything but criticism.
