Warrior General Games

It seems that there are huge games with playoff implications every time now, due to the way the schedule came out.

In the West we have the 9-2 Topes up against the 9-2 Aces. Should be a real barnstormer, but I fancy the Topes to win it by about 10.

Also in the West we have the #7 Tigers up against the #8 Wedgies. A win for the Tigers pretty much condems the Wedgies to 8th spot.

In the east there are also 2 all top 8 matchups.

7-4 Hammerheads play the 7-4 Corsairs. pretty much a pickem matchup by the looks of it, but I just favour the Hammerheads to nick the win.

The 8-3 Firebirds host the 6-5 Marauders. The Firebirds are on a 3 game win streak and I see no reason for this to end.

The last few weeks should be filled with playoff implication games it looks like. The Aces could use a win today over the Topes to have any hopes of a home playoff game.

I know every game counts for us from now on, fighting for that 8th spot. We're currently one game out, reasonably expecting to go 3-1 the rest of the way--and hoping the two teams right in front of us drop a couple. Massachusetts and Youngstown both have tougher schedules than us down the homestretch, so it COULD happen.

This week's top games has to include the Stoners VS the Firebirds. A win in this game could put the Firebirds in the top 4 by the end of the season.

Hmmmm, Ill have to root for the stoners in this one.

Top Games in the West tomorrow are:-

11-1 Rahls vs 10-2 Isotopes
11-1 Beavers vs 9-3 Aces

Both these could go either way.
