High strength and Strong Base, does it work?

idk i hope to find out tomorrow, i'll post back on here afterwards. (i've been playing on combo but haven't gotten a sack in a couple games)

Thanks, I have not had much success with my bull rushing DEs, wondering if it's just me or the idea just doesn't work.

Its pretty much like a DT playing in the DE slot. They aren't quick enough to get to the QB before the ball is released.

I tried it in the begining of the season. Got 4 sacks from it. Since switching (game 6) to evasive pass rush I've gotten 26 sacks. I would say evasive pass rush is the 'thing' this season, unlike previous years. This is my first year as a starter, so I don't have much more info on bull rushing.

Even if speed is in the 50s?

checking back in: i had 12 tackles 1 hry 1 sack

decent game but was up against a OT 6 lvl's lower

going to try evasive for the next game

Thanks for the update, that's a lot of tackles, was he the LDE?

How many points you guys have in strong base?

Doesn't matter what your speed is if you run into the blocker, it still takes time to get through him, time you don't have.

So Bull rush is basically useless? That sucks

I tried to make a thread in bugs about it in relation to DTs but people seem to think it's fine that OLinemen 20 levels below DLinemen can block them.

Not useless, but a whole lot less effective.

Bull Rushing is more effective from LDE as against smart Offences you will be facing run blocking Tackles who are very strong and have a high blocking

If they have high strength and high blocking it makes sense to avoid and not make contact...
