First thing to do is put all your equipment to boost strength. Then soft cap speed, I'm assuming that strength and blocking are already there. At this point, you're ready to either start soft capping secondary attributes (Agility, Vision, Carrying, Confidence, etc...) or focus on the primary ones (Strength, Speed and Blocking). This will determine whether you're a blocking FB that has a slight lean towards balance or if you're a blocking FB that only blocks.

Make sure it's all actually equipped, your strength seems a bit off.

You're very similar to my build overall. A little waste here and there (like stamina, carrying and catching). Those points I used to soft cap speed instead (my stamina is 31, carrying is 28 and catching is 16). Vision, Agility and blocking will all be soft capped by level 30 as well (my str is ~75 currently as well). This was my first player, so I'm far from optimal, but he is performing well thus far.

The biggest problem with your build is the two extra levels worth of SP spent in stamina, which basically makes you perform as a level 25 who has a better build. I'm the only FB on the depth chart, play almost the entire game on hard (with only a 31 stamina) and rarely have energy issues.

Pretty solid IMHO. A few points would have been better spent in stamina over carrying, otherwise it looks pretty good. Work on soft capping speed asap, then blocking. Once there you can start to toy around with what role you need to fill and start building towards it.

Yes. Vision is currently borked (I.E. you don't want it too high or it screws you). Agility isn't very important, as long as it's to a certain point. You'll rarely, if ever, be pass blocking or changing direction to pick up lead blocks. Those two attributes are a bit more important if you're a rushing FB.

How does high vision screw you.

As it stands, vision is too good when it gets high. Your back will start to dodge or run away from what it perceives to be a strong defender long before the defender is actually in range. In the worst cases, the back will actually run into closer coverage trying to avoid them.

Blocking can go the same way. Instead of just blocking the closest defender, the back will go after the biggest perceived threat (even at the expense of leaving another defender open to tackle the person with the ball).

But I think the vision has to be "high" high before you have to worry about that too much. And Bort is supposed to be working on settling it down some. Still, you probably don't need extra high vision for a FB of any type.

Basically what HouseT said. Vision will make you go after the biggest threat (this doesn't mean the most imminent threat though). The higher your vision, the bigger your detection bubble. So, the higher your vision, the bigger the radius is that you'll check for the biggest threat. A decent vision is enough to send you off to block the wrong target.

It doesn't have to be extremely high for this problem to arise currently... unless you consider high 30's, low 40's as "high" high.

Vison is corrected today. Should be fine. My FB is higher vision and he has been great in spite of the issue, all be it as a Block primary build.
