Would you need blocking, really, as much? Not only would it improve your blocking, but also breaking tackles and such.

So wouldnt blocking points better be spent on Strength?

You need both attributes. I agree overall though, strength is my FB's primary attribute and blocking is pretty low on the list.

You basically need enough blocking to hold the defenders who outmatch you.

Hopefully you have enough strength to push most linebackers out of the way, but if you are outmatched blocking will help you hold a guy for the key few seconds.

I'll echo both of those. Strength is of primary importance, but make sure that you have some blocking, too. I wouldn't try to keep the two equal by any means.

It depends on your FB's role on his/her team.

I own my team and my FB. We use them 2% of the time. I keep strength and block pretty close to each other.

Strength is 50.5. Block is 48.5 only because I leveled strength up first.

I made a guard in the D league and gave him all strength only. He has a 76 pancakes in 5 games. No one gets by him either. Granted it is the D league Im not so sure that blocking is half as important as strength. I think it would apply to Fbs too.
