1: East Brewton Warbirds 10-0
They must gameplan well as their team doesn't look strong on paper... If they beat the Flashpoint next week then it's plain sailing to 16-0 and #1 seed. Playoffs could be different though... They always are.
2: Cincinnati Stoners 9-1
They lost their opening game, but they smashed the Flashpoint... They have 4 tricky games left. But I don't see them doing anything but winning out, a very strong team that would have been undefeated and top if they'd just got week 1 right
3: Kansas Flashpoint 9-1
FLASH! Ah-aahhhhhhhhh! Hmmm... got the final part of Blades of Glory in my head now. They have a shot at the Warbirds... but if they lose that they drop to 9-2... And with the Rahls up game 16 they have to watch their back although the Inferno still have to play the Stoners and Skulls... So they could be secure.
4 Indianapolis Inferno 8-2
Like I said, they still have to play the Stoners and the Skulls... Besides that, they'll win out, Stoners game will be one to watch. Skulls will beat them though... Go West! (where the air is clean)
5 East Saint Louis Firebirds 7-3
They are very happy with their progression this season and so they should be... They will pick up only 1 or 2 more losses... (Stoners and a crucial matchup vs. Hammerheads)... Shows how balanced this conference is though with 7-3 good enough for 5th place.
6 Jersey Shore Hammerheads 7-3
Jersey Shore have been consistently good since the start of season 2 (1 for us)... In a similar position as the Firebirds... play the Stoners (likely to lose) and then a crucial game vs. Firebirds... the difference could be the Inter-Conference game though as the JSH play the Beavers, and that they won't win. (Sneaky pick for playoff glory though... it's never the #1 seed)
7 Key West Corsairs 6-4
The team are doing very well under Spedro and could find themselves in the playoffs by the end of the year. The run in is tough though... They play the two teams directly above them, a strong Catfish team, and they will feel the might of the West when they meet the Amardillo Isotopes. Could be a heartbreaker...
8 Youngstown Villains 6-4
The YV will lose to the Stoners and the Hammerheads but they control their own destiny playing the Marauders and Corsairs before the end of the season. Their Inter-Conference game will be tough but they will hope the Gunslingers have another off-day to capture a playoff spot...
9 Massachusetts Marauders 5-5
The playoffs look beyond the Marauders, although they have a shot at The Villains and play an underperfoming Catfish... They have 3 strong teams to play that could doom their playoff chances... Week 16 will be a nice pick-me up though as they were the lucky team to get the Flathead Just Go Krazy.
10 Middle Tennessee Fightin' Catfish 3-7
They came down to the BBB#5 this year expecting a re-bound and they will have been shocked how tough it has been for them... I didn't honestly know they were 3-7 and thought they'd be comfortably in 5th-6th right now and was cursing our luck to have them week 16. 6 of their losses have come against teams in the top 7 though. Don't think they could make the playoffs but hope they don't play spoiler week 16.
11 Detroit Proletariat 3-7
The Proletariat have had a tough road up until now, but could go 5-1 from now on... I don't know if that'll be playoff worthy... I'll work it out in a min... Could sneak it though!
12 Boone Drinkabeers 3-7
Started with a 3 game streak but have had a rough time of it since then, and it will only get rougher... They will look to the Zeroes as their best shot at Win #4 before the season is out... but that's as far as it could go.
13 Redridge Murlocs 2-8
The Murlocs have done better than the Trojans, picking up a couple of wins... Another side that will be looking to the Zeroes game for another chance of a win... It is their only chance though... 2 win season is still a success though!
14 Huntington Zeroes 1-9
They waited a long time for Win #1 and will be looking to make it at least 3 if not 4 by the end of the season... Their big game is the Drinkabeers game for 12th.
15 Malibu Macaws 1-9
At least they got a win in their first season, but would have hoped to maybe get a 2nd vs. RR Murlocs... Again a team that will look to the Zeroes game as their only shot at another win. 1-15 and 15th is likely though, they need to replace CPU's...
16 Virginia Flames 0-10
I don't know what happened here... It's not looking too good though... At least they haven't been shut-out every game this year and the Owner has a couple of GMs for help (unlike a couple of teams in the West).

Nice write up. You are correct about the last part of the season. The competition for getting seeds 5-8 is gonna get nasty.

I still haven't had time to really look at the western teams. I know pretty much nothing about them. (sometimes I wish games were three days apart instead of two)
