Today, Graythreat announced the finalization of the New Orleans Goons to Miami. Many will wonder "why move so soon?" since the goons were only bought a week ago. Graythreat issued the following statement.
I have been a Miami fan my entire life, while I would have preferred to buy a Miami team outright, moving the Goons was the second best option available. They were a lackluster team when I took over, with nearly no local support for the local team.
Miami on the other hand offers many perks to the new team. The locals are crazy about the move, and are whole heartedly supporting the endeavor. We have strong support from the miami fanbase, and our players are huge fans of the city.
Along with a change in scenery, the Goons are getting a change in branding by switching their name from The New Orleans Goons to the "Miami Vice", their also switching their colors to Aqua and Orange. The name Vice is a commentary on the colorful and often times violent past of Florida. The Vice have a new city, new name, new colors, and an almost entirely new roster. Look out world!
