Okay so the East had their Miami showdown so I thought I'd start a thread for the best of the West showdown. Unless there's a tie; Anchorage is happy with this match up!

A DVD win here would throw the West standings up top into a tizzy. If everything plays out as expected, a DVD win means that they root for Rapid City to beat Anchorage in "week" 15 so that DVD gets the top seed. If Rapid City wins, then their showdown against Anchorage probably ends up being for the top seed in the West. Either way, because of the timing of this game, Anchorage controls its own fate in whether or not they are the West's #1 heading into the playoffs.

That is a great break down, but Anchorage still has to get by Uncle Sam's just to have that chance to face Rapid City on equal ground. Then Anchorage has to face Miami in our final game while Rapid City gets Houghton and DVD gets Vice City.
So after the battle in the West if all said in down, Rapid City gets a bye week into the playoffs while Anchorage and DVD still have to fight for position. A win against Rapid City is a must for both of us in order to stay uptop, but Rapid City has a little less pressure in my eyes.
I'm hoping Sioux Falls still has some magic left and can pull out a win against Rapid City!!!!!

I didn't forget about that damn team that gave me my loss!!!!!! However, they have a tough schedule ahead. Every one of their games can go either way.

Oh I am in no way forgetting about them. In all honesty they were my preseason pick to win the West. They have a solid roster and are damn good at gameplanning. i was just stating that if Anchorage wins out then they have the top spot. Obviously USMC along with Miami, Sioux Falls, and Vice City all have their influence on the scenarios. I am in no way downplaying any teams, just trying to break things down.

I think tonight will be very good and exciting. Now that I've said that it will end up like 7-3 with a bunch of incomplete passes and punts.
