1. Honolulu Warriors 9-0-0
They get the nod over the Thunder by the slimmest of margins mostly on the strength of their passing game. Now, if they can just win when it counts, the playoffs. Still to play the Thunder and Cary.
2. South Texas Thunder 9-0-0
The best defense in the west is numero dos because season 4 is the season of the offense. Sorry Tejas. They have the most exciting finish to the season with Cary and the Warriors to close out conference play.
3. Houston Outlaws 7-2-0
Only losses to the Warriors and Thunder have landed the Outlaw here. They shut down the high powered offense of Cary opening week and then laid a turd against the Warriors. You have to wonder what team will show up in their next big game.
4. Cary Carpetbaggers 8-1-0
Cary wishes they didn't have that opening game dud against the Outlaws. However, they have proven they belong at the top of the conference with a very balanced attack and strong defense.
5. Kansas City Wiz 5-4-0
Aside from an opening day stumble, Kansas has looked good. In two of their losses they pushed the Warriors and the Baggers to the brink before falling.
6. Vancouver Lions 5-4-0
With new management in place, the Lions are looking better with each game. They made a statement win against the Shockers but really need knock off a top tier team. They still have the Warriors, Outlaws and Thunder to go, look for them to pull the upset against one of them.
7. Scranton Tunas 5-4-0
Scranton has scared both the Warriors, Thunder and Outlaws, but come up just short in each game. They have plenty of potential and could be this seasons playoff sleeper if they can manage to hang onto a playoff slot against a murderous final few games.
8. Omaha Shockers 5-4-0
The big shocker is the way they lost to the Avengers and the Lions! They have a tough road ahead with Cary, Honolulu and Charlotte still on deck!
9. The Elite Sea Team 5-4-0
A killer schedule has their record a bit down and they have no marquee wins, but they have no bad losses either. Even against better teams they keep the score respectable.
10. Riverside Renegades 6-3-0
If they want to prove they belong higher than this, they need to beat a team with a winning record. The teams they have beaten sport a not so impressive 8-38 record.
The rest....
11. El Paso Bandits 3-6-0
12. Bay Area Bombsquad 1-8-0
13. Houston Panthers 1-8-0
14. Las Vegas Avengers 2-7-0
15. Anchorage Jaguars 1-8-0
16. Springfield Meltdowns 0-9-0
