My annual power rankings with commentary.

1. Us. Talk talk talk. Blah blah blah. Until one of you talkers comes within 3 scores of us...

2 (tied). NH Hustlers. They are the trash talk Kings and Queens. And they gave us a really good game. Even though they were scrimmages, the games we played against the top West teams were a walk in the park compared to this.

2 (tied). Rapid City - They could be #1. Gave us a tough time actually in our scrimmage, and the settings were obviously screwy for them. But still haven't faced DVD or Anchorage.

4. Anchorage. DVD Talk What? They threw the whole emerging Western power structure into disarray by losing to Caprica and then beating DVD. Are these top West teams actually better than Vice City and the Miamis? Maybe not. But we'll continue with the conventional wisdom for now.

5. DVD. Still a real strong team.

6 (tied). Caprica - Still solid after all these years...

6 (tied). Death Valley Douche bags. Bad personality disorder doesn't prevent them from playing tough against the top of the conference and beating Caprica.

8. USMC. Semper Fidelis! Join the Marines. Travel to distant and exotic lands. Meet exotic and unusual people. And kill them. Obviously in the mix, just shy of the top teams.

9. Sioux Falls. They could make a legit argument that they are too low. But instead of arguing with me, they should just beat Anchorage tonight if they want to move up.

10. Miami Makos - Only Losses are to NBSK and NH. My #3 in the East.

11. Vice City - 7-1, but with no quality wins. Still have to prove it against Makos, NH, and NBSK.

12. Miami Hammerheads. Loss to Vice City is why there are here. Win against Miami Makos tonight throws them into a 4 way tie for #10 along with Detroit (unless Salem Beats Vice City, etc).

First, thanks for doing the midway power rankings. I might have my disagreements here and there, but all-around pretty solid. I still think we're ranked too high, but the results are also hard to argue with, and our scrimmage win vs. Anchorage might mean something, I guess.

Second, and more importantly, everyone involved with earning us 'Trash Talk king and queen status' has been running extra laps in practice ever since.

Rules we got the bad personality disorder but the almost half the league needed their diapers changed when we came.

You engaged in a form of cheating. How bad, and for what motivation, and the fact that Bort was to busy to really pay attention, are mitigating factors. But what got everyone's panties in a bunch was your aforementioned bad attitude. If you has simply said: "Yeah, I kinda see where you guys are coming from" all this could have been averted.

How can a team we beat 48 -10 be above us?

Ok, so being in both leagues the past to seasons I will agree to disagree with you nikejoe about how high NH is, but it is quite refreshing to finally be on a team included in the power rankings. Last season my team was banished from the forums and this season my team has respectfully been left out until this point so thanks for popping my USA BBB #15 power rankings cherry.

Also, roger does have a somewhat valid point, but might I point out that I believe you beat them before they had boosted and since they have upped their lvls they have been downright scary to not only the West but the entire league.

Sidenote: Mono I heard Driftwood is STILL scared to have Byron cover him one on one. Too many bad memories from practices last season

Joe - nice job with the rankings. It'd be nice if we could get another team or two in the West to fold up tents and give the rebuilders a few more legs to stand on. There are definitely some strong teams out there in the minefield.

I could care less about power rankings, honestly. I just really thought I remembered you guys boosting for our game. But if I was wrong, my mistake.

This is my opinion based on looking at little dots on a screen and a precursory assessment of some random stats. How dare you challenge it!

You lost to the Vikings, who they beat. bla bla. A head to head would be a tie breaker if it was too close and I had nothing else to base an opinion on.

The good news is that you have plenty of opportunity to change it.
