My team has 2 great QB's and last year we were unbelievable with the passing game. With the changes made to this year, we are finding it very hard to get WR open, and QB are having a hard time throwing because the CBs are draped all over the receivers.

My question to all of you that troll these forums is, what helps the most in your WR getting open?

Most all of our WR have a 3:2 speed agility ratio, and all utilize the speedster tree.

Do we need more vision? More SA, they are all lacking on SAs. Catching is not the problem because we do not have a lot of drops (5.4 catches per drop). Do we need more agility even though we have 3:2 ratio?

Here is my WRs build..

Level 20

Physical Attributes Football Skills
Strength: 9 Blocking: 10
Speed: 78.28 Tackling: 8
Agility: 48.28 Throwing: 7
Jumping: 27.36 Catching: 40.28
Stamina: 27.84 Carrying: 19.5
Vision: 26.17 Kicking: 9
Confidence: 25.81 Punting: 8

2-2-0-0-0
2-2-2-2-2

He is getting a bit more agility next lvl (been trying to even this out because of the changes from last offseason)

Thanks in advance

i am watching a reply of another game, and we cant even get a lvl 23 WR open on a lvl 14 CPU CB, running short routes!!

I'd say get a few into quick cut up to at least four and some in route run.

Very poor choise, trying to get trolls to respond!

Honestly, after having looked at your team, I would say the changes Bort made to "coasting" late in the game are really what cost you in the passing game and your settings are more to blame than anything else.

Y'all are running twice as much as you are passing. Try passing more and you'll see your WR's do better.

we are running more because passing wasn't cutting it at the beginning of the season...

reason stamina is low is because we have 5 very viable WR, so I figured I could lack in the stam area in order to get other skills higher

I'm no fan of speed-only wr. that's the average build and most cb's know that. get strength to 20+ and you should have an advantage over many cb's

btw: but i wouldn't put the sp in it immediately. first train strength as long as it is so easy to level it up with training.

Changes have been made since the beginning of the season. CB's were way too good for the first few games.

Softcap catching and vision , while training confidence to 30+ and strength to 20+ .

Not to get better seperation but to make more catches simply .

With the new changes it's harder to get seperation but easier to catch in traffic .

And since most CBs work mainly on speed/agility to keep us close then why not exploit that ?

all im hearing from possession guys is theyre not being as targetted as much due to this new QB risk assessment, and speed/seperation guys are getting most of the looks. do you find that to be the case?

Get your agility within 25 of your speed. I noticed my YPC go from 8.9 to 13.1 since I did this.

Well I've had decent success since I capped catching and vision , but of course never neglect speed/agility . but maybe like they say you're gonna need some more agility since you have so high speed .
