The question here is: when I get his defense general skill to 10, would the team be better with a normal LB (thus, playing with 11 on the field) or with this guy (pretty much 10 on the field, but all of them with stamina and morale buffs)?

No. And certainly not without Aura of Intimidation.

From what i've seen aura LB's pretty much suck. Whatever good they do with morale and stamina buffing is taken away when your MLB can't tackle a scat-back or weak WR.

Now if it was Intimidation it might work "if" you have the attributes to back it up.

in my humble opinion, i think it will suck balls. but i've been wrong before. if D General boosted speed and agility, maybe, but morale and stamina...ahhh
