Can a HB have too much vision, causing him to run more side to side rather than straight up the field?

Yeah even Bort has said that vision not working properly yet for HBs. It seems that it's better to have low vision around 20 for the time being.

Personally, I'd still train vision to a soft cap, cause once that bug gets fixed, which could be next season (you never know), the low vision backs will start having a lot of trouble whereas the ones with higher vision will produce. By level 15 your HB should have close to about 30 in vision. From there it's pretty simple to make the adjustments to increase it, if you want to.

Where is the post that bort commented on, anyone know? I am having this discussion with a team owner about builds. Also, I have 30+ vision on my PHB and I am beginning to notice some dancing there. I don't recommend it that high based on my limited experience.

Rumor has it that if you set your run style to combo, instead of elusive, it resolves some of the problem.

Yep it has done wonders for my elusive back

I watched some of your replays, which look pretty good. I've been building 2 Elusive backs as well. I'm going for High Agility/High Special Abilites, but have been trying to figure out the perfect Speed/Agility ratio.

I'm also trying to figure out Vision. I'm starting to think that it is useful, but only to a certain point. If I'm correct, I think that it is very useful to have it over 20 or 25, but much more than that could cause some problems.

Its frustrating to not be able to run on elusive, as that's what I've built my guys to do. I think that all of the Agility/HeadFake/QuickCut is more likely to kick in on Elusive, but still isn't worth it to not run on Combo.

So just out of curiosity - what's your Speed/Agility/Vision at? You could keep it through PM if you want, but I'm just trying to figure out the ideal settings.

Thanks.

Yeah, another thing that has been acknowledged multiple times by Bort is elusive running not working right. So far he has not been able to get the elusive running tactic to work like he wants, so it is advisable to use combo tactics if you have a speed/elusive back.
