We have two representatives in the "Best of BBB Tournament" being organized by lostinkorea (and man, what a thankless job THAT is!), Oakland Nation from the West and the Atlanta Purple Penguins from the East.

Oakland qualified for the automatic BBB#7 berth because they had the balls to sign up right away. They will play their first game against the winner of the Minnesota Skulls (BBB#5) and the Huntsville Rockets (BBB#8). Both are legitimately tough teams (actually, that was a pretty stupid statement considering the name of the tournament is "Best of the Best"---of course the teams are all good!)

Atlanta had to play a Play-In game to qualify for the main bracketbecause they were dragging their feet, and did so today with a 31-0 win over the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Menzingers (BBB#15). They will face The Hurricanes from BBB#11.

So BBB#7 has two representatives in the main tournament. If any of you have information that might help either of these two owners in scouting their assigned opponents, I'm sure any information volunteered would be welcomed with open arms. I know I'd welcome it!!!

So far, the honor of the "7" has not been besmirched!!! Long live the "7"!!!

I told you Scranton sucked. They had no business being in that tournament.

13 sacks wtf?

Well, we thought we should try to put some pressure on the QB.

Good work Penguins. I will be rooting for you and Oakland throughout the tournament to continue making our league look good.

i was the first to qb against the penguins this season.. that means ive faced 'em at their weakest point this season.. and despite the record, my team 'aint no punk'. i don't see how they'd be beaten.. i hope penguins stick it to 'em.. oakland too.. cuz they were talking a bit of trash on the side about bbb7

Just a quick acknowledgement of how cool lostinkorea has been about this whole tournament. I noticed that if both Oakland and Atlanta win their first round games that they would end up playing each other. I PM'd him to call his attention to the issue and offer up a possible solution and he would have been totally within his rights to just say Atlanta was late signing up so there's nothing that can be done. To his credit, he addressed the problem very promptly, no muss, no fuss, no bullshit.

I was initially reluctant to participate in this tourney, but he has been so diligent and hard working and reasonable that I'm enjoying it a lot and am very grateful for the chance to help represent The Seven. We have a pretty tough one coming up, but we'll do our best to make you guys proud!

Not only that, he then credited you with catching the possible conflict that this would cause.

Sounds like this tournament has been better run than the Top 64 tournament.
