SA's are nice (so they say), but since you're close, I would put my next 5 SP into strength to soft cap it.

Then I would do the same for confidence.

Three levels from now, you'll be soft capped in three skills.

I'd also keep training vision the entire time.

Then I would go with the SA's.

Everybody's different though.

Good luck.

SAs are very important for a few reasons. One, there as so few of them that you can really stock up on them. From my understanding, SAs are "activated" so if you have a high number in a SA, you will most likely "activate" the ability. Due to you only having three potential special abilities, having a high number in a SA increases the probability of you being more accurate on that kick or having a 55+ range. For the last one, automatic, having more levels in there allows you to have a longer "short kick".

Basically, what I'm saying is don't ignore SAs. Next level add 5 points into strength, train vision ALL SEASON LONG, and immediately soft-cap confidence. Add SAs after that (around level 15).

Get STRENGTH, VISION and CONFIDENCE in the soft cap number and then work on SA's... while TRAIN on the SPEED, JUMPING and AGILITY for "mechanics" of kicking.

I would also softcap vision, confidence and strength before starting SAs. The reason for this being that you get something to your attributes and football skills when you level up, so when you softcap them then the free points you get when leveling will be worth double as much. When vision, confidence and strength is softcapped I would start on SAs as they don't benefit the same way from leveling.

However this plan might not be the best for your team, as you won't be hitting as many kicks in the low levels when you maximize one thing at a time, but when you get higher these extra points from leveling will really mean something, and you will be a monster kicker when you reach lvl 25 or something like that :-)

Just my 2 cents

And btw I agree with 36bear that you should train speed, agility and jumping as they help kicking mechanics, and I would rather train them than put SPs into them as you get quite much from training them when they're so low. I would get them to 20 each or something and then let them be.
