I'm doing west first, and I might not even be able to do the east because of time management issues here. I just think the people in west appreciate the rankings more. East rankings only had a single comment while west comments always go into the next page. If someone in the west can do the rankings for the east I'm sure east teams would appreciate it more to see an unbiased point of view. Regardless, I will continue doing the west.

So heres me asking for someone in the west to pump out an east power rankings for me and the other owners and players in the east.

#1 Omaha Dogs 4-0

Previous Rank: 3

Pro: While a lot of top teams have been beating each other up, Omaha has been handling their business as usual. I think when the time comes, they will be ready to defend this #1 position. They blew out a Kalamazoo team which is much better then their record states, and seem to be ready for oakyville 2 games from now. Grats to the players and gms of Omaha for claiming the top spot.

Cons: I think if a teams going to score on Omaha, its going to be the passing game that does it. Their run D is too stout. Cali managed to throw for almost 200 yards against them with no ints and 1 td.

#2 Houston Apollos 4-0

Previous Ranking 7

Pros: I'm guilty of not giving this team the respect they deserve. I thought Oakyville would mop the floor with them. They had a good game plan and moved the ball in the air just as good as they did on the ground. Some people might think its a big jump going from #7 to #2. I could always use the justification that they beat Oakyville who beat Reno who beat the Mustangs. Instead I will just say this team deserves to be here because they're undefeated this late into the season, and they beat a good team on the way to this record.

Cons: Here comes a game against the Albuquerque Mustangs who are anxious to come back from their loss against Reno.

#3 Reno 911 3-1

Previous Rank #4

Pros: What a game. They missed a 20 something yard field goal but still managed to win with special teams (kickoff return), against the mighty mustangs. Hats off to them. After losing to Oakyville this team has jumped right back into it with a fan against previously #1 team the mustangs.

Cons: Their kicker missed an easy chip shot that could have cost them the game. Lets hope it doesn't prevent them from winning a close game.

#4 Orly Owls 4-0

Previous Ranking #5

Pros: Undefeated, amazing chemistry, and the #1 running back in the league. This guy in my opinion is mvp of this season so far. http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=60943
1126 rush yards 19 total touchdowns and 11.7 yards a carry!
At this pace, he will end up with 4504 rush yards 76 total touchdowns. Lets not get carried away tho. I'd be highly suprised if he keeps his average of 280 rush yards a game after playing Oakyville and Albuquerque.

Cons: They too have a semi average kicker. They have yet to play a tough opponent, so this special teams could be the difference.

#5 Albuquerque Mustangs 3-1

Previous Ranking #5

Pros: I didn't drop them 5 spots because I felt they played so poorly that they shouldn't be up there. I dropped them because the four teams on the top are playing so dominant and it wouldn't be far to have them lower then this. I think when it all evens out in the end, the mustangs will own one of the top 2 spots in the league.

Cons: Need to show they will win the big game, especially since they have 3 coming up against houston, orly, and omaha.

#6 Oakyville NINJAS 3-1

Previous Ranking #2

Pros: Still got the best receivers in the west and still the real deal even after being upset by the apollo 13's. They beat Reno, a team good enough to win BBB #14 outright. If the right pieces fall into place, Oakyville could come out of the west. Thats what makes the western conference power rankings so much fun to do. It is extremely TOP HEAVY!

Cons: The defense needs to start showing up. Two games in a row they allow 24 and 34 points. hopefully they fix it quick. Orly Owls and Omaha are up next.

#7 San Francisco Wildcats 3-1

Previous Ranking #6

Pros: Its not fair that they win a game and drop down a spot. If they can beat a quality opponent like Houston did (the team ranked below them), then things will change. San Fran is the last lock to make the playoffs (top 7 teams in my opinion are all locks). After San Fran, you have a number of teams fighting for the 8 spot.

Cons: Passing game in my opinion. They have 3 qbs, but is that the right thing to do? I always thought 1 qb was the way to go but I could be wrong.

#8 Chattanooga Quarantine 2-2

Previous 8

Pros: Their wr is studly. Hes averaging over 116 receiving yards per game. He also has all their receiving tds.

Cons: Their passing game (their biggest str) needs to get more consistent. Kenny Palmer had an amazing preseason throwing 6 tds in 2 games. After 4 regular season games, he only has 4 to go along with 5 picks.

#9 Carolina Bar Stars 1-2

previous 9

Pros: 1 down, 2 more to go. Carolina Convincely defeated cali and completed almost 83% of their passes while doing it. This passing game ran by their level 28 qb is studly, and might be what takes them into the playoffs.

Cons: Their run game. Their backs have solid stats but they're inflated too. In both their losses, their run game really wasn't on par with their passing game.

#10 Wyoming Express 2-2

Previous 10

Pros: Good win against the condoms. Hopefully they keep it up. If they can somehow upset san fran, this team will get a major bump.

Cons: I mentioned this last power rankings, but these next 5 games are brutal! If they win can 1 of them, I'd consider that a success.

#11 Kalamazoo Wolverines 0-4

previous 11

Pros: I'm not crazy for keeping this team at #11 after starting off 0-4. Its not their fault their first 4 games were against top teams in this conference. This team has the potential to go on a 5 game winning streak beginning with what looks to be a close game against Carolina.

Cons: They have an inactive kicker whos only made 50% of his kicks this season.

#12 Ambridge Bridgade 1-3

Pros: 13 points against San Fran is 13 more then I thought they would get. Kudos to the coordinators for a solid game plan.

Cons: They have a tough one against Chat. They can eaither flex their muscles and show they're not walkovers, or lose which might surely knock their hopes of getting the final playoff spot.

#13 Trojan Warriors 0-4

Pros: 31 against Wyoming is impress, especially considering they got a cpu player and a level 9 player starting.

Cons: not a lot of depth, and too many cpus.

14-16 Furbergers, Cali, and Rocky.

Wow, 1126 rushing yards, getting over 2/3rds of them against gutted teams... Hell, This pre-season, I had 290+ yards with an 18+ YPC, 25 pancakes and 6 TDs against one of the gutted teams he played (the Destroyers)... I'm a freaking FB though. No way you can seriously think he's the league MVP of this season so far, his stats are only amazing because he's played half his games against pop-warner teams, allowing him to rack up stupid numbers.

nice job.. I think Oakyville should fron here on out ALWAYS be referred to as NINJAS or NUNJAS!

Warlock.. it doesn't matter who they have played. As of now, he is putting up sick numbers. 4 weeks from now, things will be different.

its 4 games into the season, so if i had to ask now, then yes, he is the mvp. Doesn't matter who hes done it against. Midseason and end of the season, it might be a different story, but don't rain on the guys parade.

Who are the NINJA?

Just trying to put it in perspective is all. I guess that I did come off a little harsh. To me, the MVP should be the most valuable player, not the player with the most stats (primarily due to this exact problem)... it appears that the Western Conference has more than it's fair share of gutted teams, which is going to really make stat comparisons worthless this year. Last year, almost every team was competitive (or at least already started the rebuilding process). Against a gutted team, a player can put up numbers that it'd take 4-5 (or more) games against competitive teams to match. For example, I put up numbers against the Destroyers, in pre-season, that I probably won't match in a third of an entire season. Some stats I won't even match in an entire season.

They're the stealthy people in black clothing climbing around in the trees!

Oh and from now on, all ninjas come from Oakyville!

ditto. there will be no stat accuracy as far as rating a player goes now.
