Week 5 is upon us. Alot of Blowout games this week as the upper echelon takes on the bottom half in most cases, although we do have two of the elite 4 battling it out in the game of the week between PTP and HBB.
Crow at Thunder
The Crow are right around the corner from being a competetive team. Unfortunately, no chance in hell "competetive" gets in done in Timpanagos. Thuder roll.
Thunder 56-17
Palmetto at Aurora-
A good win for the Bugs followed up by a heavy dose of reality... Did the Seminoles win the lottery when it came to early schedules while adapting to the new tactics??? Montana, Minnesota, Lakewood, and Palmetto in their first 5 weeks??? 2 wins between all 4 teams, congratulations Seminoles. Next week, welcome to your baptism into the BBB #12. Seminoles win.
Seminoles 42-6
Long Beach at Dallas
The Hitmen need to gather themselves quickly, and I mean quickly or they may be eliminated from playoff contention before the midway mark on the season. Unfortunately they did not get to play the Bugs this week. And even worse The Mountain Lions and Lancers were busy this week as well...that means...oh shit 1-4. Long Beach wins.
Long Beach 42-17
Birmingham at Eugene
The Bears are in a real bind. They have looked good at times, and then have looked not so good at times as well. This is a battle of "how the hell are we 2-2?" teams. Neither team can believe their record, but reality is a cruel mistress. Eugene has my faith, and well Birmingham will forever be LA to me. You cant just relocate to lose the rivalry Express. Slugs win...lol I love saying that, because Whisper hates it!
Slugs 34-20
Minnesota at Chicago
Chicago has found their groove, and even if they hadnt would it really matter? Until Minnesota vs. Lakewood you will not hear these words..."Minnesota wins" even then I might just predict a push. Chicago wins.
Chicago 68-3
Houston at Virginia
Im not sold on Virginia. And Im starting to feel quilty for predicting the Toxins will lose when they always keep it so damn close. Houston is 1-3 while being outscored by a combined 11 points through 3 games. The ridiculous part is that they will not be outscored by 14 points through 4 losses. Sorry Houston, Virginia wins.
Virginia 17-14
*The Lakewood Lancers' how long does it take for your offense to get tired??? challenge*
Mighty at Lakewood
The Mighty had a rough week last week, but nothing boosts team morale like a 100pt blowout!
Mighty 100-0
*Game of the Week*
Honolulu at PTP
Both teams enter the game at 4-0. After this game the Thunder and the winner of this one are the final two remaining undefeated teams. Going undefeated in the regular season does not guarantee a championship, I should know, but damn if it doesn't feel a whole lot better than 14-2. The Plague and Beach Boys are evenly matched in most areas and this one could go either way. The Plague have the Home Field advantage, but who knows if that actually matters in the sims equation. This game is going to be a good one, and I hate predicting my own games, especially when they are close. HBB pulls it off.
Honolulu 35-28
