I keep hearing that WR speed is no longer as important, blah blah.. if you were building a WR now.. where would you concentrate points? What are the key areas? I am buying custom equip for my lower level WR, slow build, and want to know where to add the equip points (equip does not hurt you on slow build, right:?)).. thanks

Generally, Agility, Speed, Catching, Vision, Confidence, Carrying in that order, with some sort of Jumping, Strength, and SA's mixed in depending on the type of WR you want (also, depending on the type, those skills above might be shuffled around)

edit: and this goes to the WR forum.

damn! The interface for moving a thread is a bit clunky and it's not easy to see the difference between those 2. Off it goes again, whee!

Speed->Agility->Catching->Vision->Confidence->Carrying

This is if you specialize in speed WR SAs.
If you intend to have no SAs or Posession SAs, I'd do the following:

Speed->Catching->Vision->Agility->Carrying->Confidence

Speed is still the most valuable stat, along with vision, for gaining separation.
Catching and vision are the most important for actually putting the ball into your hands after you get that separation.
Speed, agility, and again vision combined with SAs from the speedster tree will give you a higher YAC, but this number is often based on the circumstance and lots of luck.

These are all opinions, obviously.
