Riding a 15-1 record, I am not as confident in todays picks, A few games are very tough to pick and I have used some very sophisticated methods to determine my choices, mainly how my yellow labrador responds to the names I say while she wants to go outside, if I get a squeel you win, a bark and your scrrrrewed!
Houston at the Slugs
The Slugs lost a tough one last week and also effed up my perfect prediction record but being as they lost in favor of Honolulu I am willing to let one game slide. But your on thin ice Slugs and just one question...what the hell is a slug doing on ice??? wont your slime freeze quickly? you guys arent the fastest creatures out there you know...and your junk is right up against the ice...ouch. Slugs win.
Eugene 56-13
Mighty at Virginia
Virginia's owner posted a strange song about the League becoming British Children...but he failed to realize there are also Mexican Dogs present... Washington may have crossed the Delaware and been 6ft 28 but I highly doubt he was resourceful enough to jump the border and fit 13 people into a Dodge Omni....Dogs win.
Mighty 28-7
Minnesota at Montana
In the Battle of powerhouses that have been Minnesota and Montana there can be only one. And that one is Minnesota... unfortunately for Minnesota I meant there can be only one still winless team. Montana Crow WIN...thats right, Crows win, Crows win, Crows win!!!!
Montana 35-17
Palmetto at PTP
Palmetto is starting to rebuild under new ownership. Thats nice. Plague wins.
PTP 76-10
Birmingham at Thunder
Birmingham is off to a hot start, so are the Thunder. The Thunder had a tough go go of things with the Toxins but seem to have fixed their issues. Birmingham well...is still LA, and besides...the dog just barked, so well, your screwed! Thunder Win.
Thunder 38-24
Honolulu at Dallas
Dallas can not afford to lose this game and start the season 1-2 but I dont think the Beach Boys care. As a matter of fact, we like the Hitmen, but I have inside information that confirms we dont care... Sorry Dallas, start that streak next week though our prayers are with you. Honolulu Wins.
HBB 48-17
*The Weekly how many can you drop on the Lancers tournament*
Lakewood at Aurora
Aurora got their first win in the league last week and luckily ran into another easy win, looks like the jury is still going to be out on them until we see how they fare against a real opponent. But as far as the new competition goes, they have to post a score of over 111 to supplant the Plague as the top scoring team in the Lancer Beatdown, but a solid 91 can move them into the #2 spot, until next week at least.
Aurora 102-0
*Game of the Week*
Long Beach at Chicago
Chicago and Long Beach, easily the toughest game to pick this week. Both teams are good, both are evenly matched. Chicago lost a game week one to the Beach Boys while Long Beach is 2-0. Hell even the dog is speechless.... Im taking the home team in this one, turnovers will win it. Chicago by a Fumble, this one ends late and the outcome inspires bitter arguments about the sim and the damn fumbles...
Chicago 24-22
