I've got a kicker who just hit level 11 with the following stats.

Strength: 32.86 Blocking: 9
Speed: 11.69 Tackling: 8
Agility: 11.69 Throwing: 11.69
Jumping: 11.69 Catching: 10
Stamina: 9 Carrying: 8
Vision: 23.13 Kicking: 66
Confidence: 32.33 Punting: 8

SA's 3-5-3

1. The kicking stat is 52 without equipment. I've got 5 points to spend for just hitting level 11. Where would you suggest they go.

2. I've still got 3 boosts for the season. Normally, I would be a proponent of waiting until the end of the year to maximize XP from boosting. However, I'm thinking that kicker might be the one position that would benefit from earlier boosting due to the fact that an increased range would result in more plays/XP. Anyone have thoughts on this?

vision, and confidence. and yes....boost early for the reason you stated.

So many choices. Vision and Confidence for sure but do not neglect speed and agility.

For the boost I have a kicker (level 17) for who I am holding his boosts as the team is currently winning and he is not hurting us. The stats may suffer but all that gets you is a cool little trophy for the shelf. If the team losses due to a few missed kicks I will boost ASAP. Your situation may differ but right now the extra xp from not being 3 levels higher is worth the wait.

I can't believe that boosting will increase your net XP development. If you want to kick better now, then boosting makes sense, but if your concern is your guy's development, waiting seems the way to go for me.

well, with a FG kicker, the more FG's you take you get one more play, for the ones you take AND make you get two more plays

Yes, it is possible for a Kicker to boost and get better XP!

except your daily xp drops by 9-10, at his level, and max xp drops by about 50. so a kicker would definitely have to get in a couple more plays every game just to keep from losing xp

I would get confidence to the soft cap since you'll still get a full point here each time you level up.

After that I'd soft cap strength while training vision.

I'd finish by trying to soft cap vision.

Oh yeah, and after you've soft capped strength and start adding SP's to vision, I'd train up my speed and agility.

Just my method anyway.....
