This is my DE build, he plays LDE, unfortunately he only has 1 sack in 3 games. Am i correct in thinking that shed block is better for power rushers. I started off wanting to be a power rusher, but found it was not nearly as effective as i had hoped. Just looking for confirmation have other people found shed block or tunnel vision to be more effective?

Cheers in advance for any advice or feedback

P.S. the equipment is all in speed and agility, split fairly evenly

right now spd/agi de like myself arent having much success unless the pass rush tactics are live for you. for me its not live so i still run into the OL. your build is solid, it will be very effective when pass rush tactics come live.

Some say tunnel vision only works if you get around the Ol and have a clean sight on the qb, some say it works right from the start of play. im not sure whihc one to believe but i would go with shed block

Today my level 26 LDE had 3 sacks against a well built level 26 Tackle.

Heres his build and he's set on evasive

all 3 sacks he went around the tackle

Ive got a guy that is 70+ agility 50 strength with 8 shed, set on evasive, last game I went with a tough LOT, as the season progresses Ill try to input his results.
I have noticed that with evasive, it seems like it totaly take you out of the play a bit, watch out, you will get nailed in doubles by the fullback and HB alot. I mean alot.
So far in passing situations, in the last game, I have yet to engage in a block. De is to quick for the lot, the problem was the double team.

Had a nice 3 sack day as a lvl 22 RDE against a lvl 24 LOT.

Set to evasive went around the outside.

I wont go into exactly how my SA's are spaced out, but I like First step, shed block AND tunnel vision.

I think all the pass rushing specials work well together. You need an emphasis in just one, but the other 3 help (I'm ignoring big sack.) I go for emphasis in first step. I need a healthy change direction to shrink the arc needed to get the QB. Shed block is good because there are some well built OT's out there who can get in your way along with HB's and FB's in on pass blocking. Tunnel vision helps on those short and medium passes where you otherwise wouldn't have quite enough time to reach the QB before the throw.
