Terrific post. Thanks for putting in the effort to help try and correct a glaring GLB inconsistency and a major problem.

Agreed, just read it.
Whats sad is how incredibly stupid some of the folks we play this game with are, which is so glaringly obvious by some of the responses to that post.
My favorite is always "The people should be able to play how they want to" crap. I just picture some idiot standing there eating paint mumbling this who has no understanding of what the point of the original post was.

I agree especially having just played the Las Vegas Wildcats. We even changed our settings to not pass and have our back-up RB's play to keep the score down and we still rushed for over 900 yards.
This is not what is good for the league.

I undrstand what most of them are saying and If I could get into a lower league I would but my team was in it in a bad way and my choices was put a team out of LV 15-20 players and get beat every game and have no cash next season or sign LV 1 players to a 3 year contract buid them, and in a season or two have the cash and a good core set of players to make a good team and make some noise. I truly am sry that my team makes a mess of the stats 200-0 games and such, but Im not a farm team! I need to keep guys together and build up cash so my team is good latter on rather than strugle with cash and mid level players I feel It is my only option to make a good team

No problem man, I've seen that you've been signing people. And thats a big step in the right direction.
This post wasn't directed at you necessarily, but you not having all CPUs on your team will definitely help your cause and ours.
Keep bringing in those humans.

In response to Jed's post there, it would have been much easier for the Assassins last season if we had been put into a different league after I took over. High level players had left or were traded after the previous owner gave out $1.5mm in signing bonuses the day before the team was sold back. Horrible financial situation, so no cash to sign or trade for anybody, but we still spent almost everything we had to at least try to assemble a team. We were in a bad way in USA A. We lost every game that season but managed to make a couple at least competitive against the lower level teams.
This season, I think we have a chance to at least compete for 4-6 wins (albeit half of them from the gutted teams) with next year being a possible playoff contention year if the offseason goes as planned. It helped that we had a core group of agents that wanted to wait it out and actually brought some of their other players over, but my point is that it IS possible to get it done without signing lvl 1s. In my opinion, it's either farming or sheer laziness when an owner signs a bunch of lvl 1s. Anybody can spend an hour at the computer and create some players or offer a swath of contracts to D-leaguers and get enough players to field a team. You have to spend a little bit more time if you want to work out trades or convince a higher-level guy to take a chance or recruit GMs that can bring players over.

It is not farming or Laziness that prompted me to sign LV 1s. I could not work out trades with no players and 250000 in cash. I could not get Higher LV guy to sign long term I spent 8-10 hours a day and sent 1000's of offers and pms but no higher LV players want to rebuild a team that has been gutted when thay can just sign with a good team. I needed long term guys B/C Im not going to play the one and done thing and be in the same place next year. So with the long term Low LV guys I have we will slow build vary stroung players then boost three seasons from now and we will be a vary good team that has stuck together that is not farming or Lazy that is building a team with good chem. from the ground up.

So basically you're completely tanking 3 seasons hoping to be competitive in the fourth while sitting on 6.5 million in cash with a fairly respectable stadium which assures you a decent future revenue stream? Cool.
